Three Weavers All Hops No Brakes Hazy IPA (Picked up at Total Wine in San Diego). A 3 of 4. A very solid hazy IPA – has lots of orange citrus behind pineapple and other tropical fruit, and a nice mix of fruity sweetness and aggressive bitterness towards the finish. Very well-balanced with plenty of juiciness, and drinks quite easily.

Modern Times Sparkle Wolf West Coast IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A more typically hazy IPA hop profile on this West Coast IPA with lots of bright tropical fruit and stone fruit and quite a bit of sweetness. Some nice bitterness in the finish alongside some allium and herbal notes. A solid IPA, but doesn’t quite stand out as much as so many other excellent things from Modern Times.
