Clarissa was a mess. She had been in such a hurry that she wasn’t paying any attention to anything she was doing. Which normally led to her bumping into something. Not this time. Instead she took a tumble. Her shoe seemed to get caught on something and it was all down hill from there. Landing face down on the floor. Her voice trailed behind as she curse under her breath.

Clarissa slid up next to Dave slowly, bumping his with her arm while still maintaining her gaze forward. “I was wondering if you were going to be here.” she muttered. A small smile cracked across her face. “I’ll admit I honestly didn’t think you’d show up. I’m kind of surprised I even did.” Slowly she turned to him and shrugged. “You look nice.”

“I’m sorry but I think this is pretty hilarious.” Rissa chirped between her laughter. She covered her mouth slightly while she composed herself and glanced back over at him. “You had this rigged or something, didn’t you?” she asked, “Well I guess Prince Charming came to life. At least partially.” Clarissa smiled as she looked him up and down.

“Don’t even have to ask me twice. If you ask me, we’re gonna have the better night. We won’t be the ones crying by the end. Unless it’s Nicholas Spark’s fault.”
“Well then, shall we eat popcorn and watch netflix while everyone else max’s out their credit cards?”
