Why does no other show from RT get the same amount of hate that RWBY gets? Nomad of Nowhere also has two female LGBT leads and yet that show still doesn't get the same amount of hate RWBY gets. I just don't understand.

My guess is different initial audience. The people who got into RWBY at the start were expecting silly monster hunting school shenanigans and easily digestible waifus.

Not what RWBY was ever going to be.

It still gets me that Yang knew how to fix a technologically advanced bike after only having it for a few hours

She designed and built Ember Celica which is a very sophisticated and compact weapon. Odds are she either built or knows how to work on Bumblebee (RIP - thank you for your service).

Yang is incredibly intelligent and educated and is a talented engineer/mechanic (and pilot)

I will brook no Yang slander in my presence and that definitely includes any kind of insinuation that she's a bad sister.

In "Boba" neither of them pointed fingers at each other. They just acknowledged their flaws and talked about how to be better.

Yang loves Ruby and Ruby loves Yang. No resentment, no lingering bad feelings. Just two loving sisters.

Okay, since @white-rose-week isn't hosting this year, to not take their week for next year, we'll do it on another week this year.

As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.

It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.

Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

So What's Next?

As I start wrapping things up on the exchange event, I wanted to let you guys know what lies ahead!

As of right now, my plan is to keep this blog active pretty regularly. My next event is going to be a general RWBY week set sometime in September/October! This’ll have a similar structure to a ship week: no sign ups needed, 7 daily prompts will be provided, scheduled to be posted by creators on a certain day. There will be no theme or focus, the only requirement is that it is a RWBY piece! Prompts are open to interpretation and the date is more of a guideline, not a strict deadline. I thought it would be a less structured way to celebrate the show and have a chance to share enthusiasm with fellow fans!

After that, I will start prep work on next year’s exchange! Moving forward, I am hoping to make this schedule yearly: the exchange at the beginning of the year, and a RWBY week closer to the end. I am messing with the idea of giving next year’s RWBY week a theme, but this year I think we will keep it simple.

I am also going to be re-vamping the blog a bit to fit any event and give me more flexibility, so you might see a few changes here (maybe even the name in a few days, we’ll see). Just so you guys are aware!

I am still working out the details of these events, but I wanted to let you guys know that big things are coming! I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about future events! Feel free to drop an ask in the inbox so that we can all discuss together!
