I should boycott Eurovision…but if I do then I’m not paying my usual Gay Bar money…but if I watch it at my local gay bar they get my drink money…and it doesn’t add towards the viewing figures coz there is 100 of us watching on one BBC TV License…and I can make informed votes for my faves…if I don’t there’s a chance only pro-Israel people will watch and vote…and then Israel will win…but if I watch the people of tumblr will tell me to kill myself…what do I do…I am a human with autonomy right

I'm so damn happy for Angelina, they tried to pry it from her hands but this Sanremo literally had her name on it and I cheered for her since the start

Shout out to Annalisa too though, who I actually really liked and had Angelina not been there she probably would have had a more realistic shot at finally winning

In general I'm so happy that, even though some tried to forget about it at times, this festival was indeed about women (all the additional prizes were won by women too, Loredana won the prize named after her sister, Fiorella won best lyrics and Angelina won best musical composition)

The last woman to win was Arisa in 2014

Let's hope we don't have to wait another 10 years to see another but today is a good day

I wanted to write something about the people who I'd like to see win tonight but I'm so demoralised because it's pointless, one of the worst songs of the year is almost certainly going to win because the guy has an enormous territorial-loyalty-based fanbase (I think not even Fedez with Chiara Ferragni's huge influence to back him had so much power), it's Tix vs KEiiNO all over again and it makes me so mad I don't think I'll even be watching

I know KEiiNO are back in MGP but, and I know this probably makes me a bad fan, but you could not pay me enough to follow Damdiggida's journey the way I did Monument's :" I still have war flashbacks from that night in 2021

I don't know if their new song can live up to Monument, I fear not because how could it, and I don't know how strong their opponents are, but I think I'll reserve the Tattoo treatment to it, I'll reserve my judgement and won't listen to it until it comes out of its national final while silently cheering for it from here and wishing them all the luck in the world (it brought some luck to Loreen alright lol)

I desperately need something to finally make me go back to wanting to watch Eurovision this year, and they could definitely be a valid incentive not gonna lie

I'm impressed by some names but not particularly fazed at the same time because, considering how Sanremo works, with ex winners like Diodato and Mahmood in the game I feel like there will be exactly 0 surprises, I'm ready for another all-men podium until proven otherwise, hopefully at least one of the girls is top 3 worthy
