for a wee bit of context on their tiktok post caption, there’s been this girl who’s been commenting on all their tiktok asking for aj and paget to do the “two best friends in a room” trend and her comments have been extremely popular (like 1k+ likes each on multiple vids). i’m assuming the caption on their recent tiktok was their attempt to acknowledge these comments without actually having to film the video and do the trend and be accused of queerbaiting. criminalminds did in fact reply to the girl saying the caption was inspired by her comments so i’m assuming their intent was to give this girl her moment without having to post any overt jemily content. i’m not saying that i agree with it or that the current caption doesn’t count as queerbaiting or that i know for sure what their intention was with that caption, but i just thought i’d provide a bit of context

Gosh the way I wish I could invent a Time Machine and jump to when you guys finally watch/discuss the Lauren arc I’m SOOOOO excited for it I genuinely think I have an unhealthy obsession with how good that storyline is

I also, in the depths of season 1 kept asking "god can we please talk about good criminal minds already" but I think a lot of the fun of waiting for the crazyinsanegood character arcs is seeing how they build!

Lauren is a BANGER yeah, but the intricacies of Emily's face when Jordan is introduced as being from Counterterrorism? INCREDIBLE! the masks that Emily so clearly wears? her calmness during minimal loss? all of those things combine to make an incredible slow burn where you just KNOW there's something else going on under the surface.

A lot of times the build up is my favorite thing about watching serial television, and the fact that we get some of that good good build up in what is theoretically a procedural show? chefs kiss I love it so much

Omg yess bonus episodes sound so good!! Do you guys record your podcast once a week or just whenever you get time so you have episodes ready to release?

once a week-ish! sometimes we try and work ahead (I think this season we had like 6 episodes ready to go before we started posting) but we always inevitably fall behind (I moved, James got sick, James' dog is a menace to our recording sessions, etc etc)

ideally we try to stay one week ahead so if something happens we have a little bit of a buffer, but recently that has not been our reality lmaoo

An idea - a podcast ep discussing ships e.g jemily, demily, hotchniss and, your fave moments of that ship etc

we've toyed with the idea of doing bonus episodes a lot! if we do them I think we would probably do them as like patreon exclusives or something because we otherwise just don't have the time. it's a struggle getting our normal episodes out sometimes LMFAOOO

but yeah! at some point we're definitely gonna do a jemily extravaganza because oh my god they're sooooooo
