the thing dc will never understand, due to being mainly run by & targeted towards heterosexual men, is that harlivy... is not sexy
pamela isley is a mad scientist slash bog witch who spends 98.2% of her time concocting abominable potions in her cabin-lab in the woods. she has not brushed her hair in 2 years and her lab coat has been eaten away by moths. her eyes are yellow and her teeth are yellow and there is unknowable vegetation growing on her skin, and she's around other people so rarely that she's forgotten how to not talk to herself, or police her tone, or regulate her body language.
harleen quinzel is an ex-clown with a nail-ridden baseball bat and hair trigger temper who's spent so long wreaking havoc for fun that she's incapable of operating within the law for more than five minutes at a time, she's covered in scars from her fights against batman and from her relationship with joker and god knows what else, cuts her hair blindly in the shower, smears dime store makeup haphazardly on her face and then dunks it in a pile of glitter, maintains a kidcore clowncore harajuku girl aesthetic despite being 37 years old, and has to tear the sleeves off 77% of her outfits because they don't account for her arm muscle from swinging a giant hammer around for years.
i mean ok. to me SPECIFICALLY that is sexy but what i'm saying is they should not look like a pair of victoria's secret models in funny outfits. the average man, upon looking at them, should not be thinking 'zowie mama let me in on that action'. he should be screaming hysterically and making a mad dash for the nearest exit. goodnight

it's kinda amazing how both twitter with elon and the metaverse with zuckerberg are BURNING right now, companies might have to just take note that you can't brute force people to like and buy whatever you piss out with advertising.

inappropriate things to do in court and at crime scenes for dummies
[id in alt text and under the cut!]
[image ID: A Disco Elysium/Ace Attorney crossover fancomic featuring Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey, Harry Du Bois, and Kim Kitsuragi. Panel One: Phoenix spots Harry and Kim sitting on the floor, playing a game. Next to them, there is a chalk outline of a body. Panel Two: Phoenix and Maya approach Harry and Kim--Maya is interested in what they're doing, while Phoenix says: "Are you two playing a board game at the crime scene…?" Harry and Kim are both surprised by Phoenix and Maya's appearance, and Kim's ears turn red. Panel Three: Kim, somewhat embarrassed and ears still red, says: "Khm. It helps us… exercise our minds." Harry, looking happy and excited, says: "I just like spending time with Kim!" Panel Four: Kim, looking smug, says: "He's only saying that because he likes getting thrashed around like a schoolboy." Harry, looking somewhat deferential, responds: "Well, only when it's you, Kim." Panel Five: Phoenix looks on with a shell-shocked expression, while Maya has a comically large smile on her face.
A Disco Elysium/Ace Attorney crossover fancomic featuring Harry Du Bois, Herlock Sholmes, and Kim Kitsuragi. Panel One: Harry is reading a book, and, in the corner of the panel, there is an image of Herlock Sholmes looking smug and surrounded by sparkles. Panel Two: Harry, still holding onto the book with one hand, cups his face with the other as he tilts his head up with a dreamy expression. Text in the panel reads: "THE ADVENTURES OF HERLOCK SHOLMES - If you can think it, this man has done it. He's eaten soap, he's been a living wax figure, he's done cocaine." "YOU - Wow, he is so me!" Panel Three: A close-up of the inside of the book which features a silhouette of Ryunosuke Naruhodo and a cut-off Herlock Sholmes in their Deduction Complete pose. Text in the panel reads: "THE ADVENTURES OF HERLOCK SHOLMES - But wait, there's more! Observe: The Dance of Deduction!" Panel Four: Harry looks down at the book excitedly, alongside blue and purple exclamation marks. Panel Five: Harry looks behind him at Kim, who is standing stoically. Harry says: "Kim, we should--" and is cut off by Kim saying: "Detective, we will not be dancing at any crime scenes."
A Disco Elysium/Ace Attorney crossover fancomic featuring Miles Edgeworth, Phoenix Wright, Harry Du Bois, and Kim Kitsuragi. Panel One: Edgeworth, looking angry, says: "Maybe YOU should be stripped naked and run out for making a mockery of this court!" Panel Two: Phoenix, looking off to the side, coughing into his fist, and sweating, says: "…N-not right now, Edgeworth." From off-panel, someone says: "I can do it, then!" Panel Three: Phoenix, looking confused, says: "wait what". Panel Four: Harry, standing at the witness stand, starts trying to take his pants off with a determined expression. He says: "I read a book once that said it was healthy to be naked." In smaller text, he goes on to say: "this belt's always so fiddly…" Panel Five: Kim starts pushing Harry off the witness stand with a resigned expression. Harry has a speech bubble with two question marks, and he looks distraught with big, wet eyes. Panel Six and Seven: Edgeworth and Phoenix look on with blank expressions. /end ID]
