In the Roman numeral system, M is the largest alphabetical letter used in it. The largest number which can be written in Roman numeral is MMMCMXCIX which is equal to 3999 numeral because only three symbols can be used at a time. It is viable to write a value larger than 3999 in Roman numerals. A line is drawn on the top of the symbol and multiply it by 1000. For example, a bar draw on the top of V is equal to 5000 in a way (5 multiply by 1000).
