Ariana Grande - Side To Side (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Ok, so I’ve never been into Ariana...I’m still hesitant. I admit she has an amazing voice, but she can’t dance, she can’t sing live for shit (equivalent to Bieber, in that they both rely way too much on backing tracks/vocals), and her over sexual persona combined with her looking like a petite 12-year-old, can be really annoying/disturbing to me.

Despite those couple of points, I am really digging her new album ‘Dangerous Woman’ - still poppy, but a lot more of an R&B influence, and some awesome beats.

This song is one of my favourites from the album, and I even like the music video. As for Nicki...everyone knows I love her. Since ‘The Pinkprint’, she can do no wrong in my eyes.

Let me introduce this incredible up and coming electronic musician/producer - Haitian/Canadian born Louis Kevin Celestin, or KAYTRANADA.

2016 is his year, and he has recently released an unbelievable body of work ‘99.9%’, his debut studio album. The list of featured artists is long and amazing. From Craig David (his comeback?), Vic Mensa, AlunaGeorge, Little Dragon, and of course...Anderson .Paak, who features in this awesome song.

I’m seeing him perform live in about Melbourne in about 2 weeks, and I absolutely can’t wait.

An absolutely amazing track from James Blake’s latest album ‘The Colour In Anything’, which I’ll say, is my favourite of his so far!!

So many beautiful songs. I was lucky enough to see him perform live at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne recently. It was just himself, a drummer, and another guy on extra keyboard and bass. Completely live, no laptops to be seen. Amazing.

This music video is so awesome, and uses lighting in a multitude of really different ways. The song features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and no one can deny that their voices were just meant to combine together. Listening to them together just makes me want to cry!
