I have no idea what's happening (a godly patron giving Lisia power and changing her?). The art and the design are amazing. I love all the pictures. The first one emaluates those specific Greek amphores, in this case of an important figure (Lisia) it seems.

In the second are two drawings. One a sketch, the other shaded and colored. I think sea foam is wafting around her hair? It has the color of some places in the ocean, as does the darker blue of her hairwrap. I love her subtle make-up of gold above her eyes, it fits well with the blue of her eyes and the brown of her skin. The same goes for the pin in her ears above the earrings. It might seem to be a casual outfit compared to the one in the top picture?

And in the last picture, we Lisia writing something. The snap-shot quote makes it funny and creates a feeling of dread. Why is she losing her sense of humanity, and why is she smiling if she wrote that? What does she feel behind her smile?

From what I've seen of Drayton, that makes sense. He's a little shit to everybody and probably exhausted even Luca's patience.

Drayton: ( watching Luca be super affectionate with Kieran) Hmmmmm.... didn't our little champ and ex - champ say they were just staying friends? They've been like this for days now.

R.B: Luca and Kieran. They have names. And yes, they're just friends for now. Luca is just like that with everyone.

Drayton: .....Eh? ( Looks at Luca then back at R.B, pointing at himself) He isn't like that with me? Why?

R.B: ( puts down whatever she was working on and looks Drayton right on the eye) ......

Drayton: ......( turns away sheepishly) Yeah, okay, that's fair.

R.B: ( goes back to working) Glad we have come to an understanding.

Oohh! This is a compelling dynamic for R.B. and some of her Pokemon! Taking in the bullies and teaching them they can have support and friends. She's giving them back the patience and compassion people at Naranja Uva have given her.

R.B and Miraidon is very interesting bc what I have in mind is that Miraidon is genuinely an ass. It thinks it's better the other pokemon, even when it lost to Luca and Buddy ( Koraidon). And before R.B catches the thing it was very violent and really bruised up R.B and her team. But they also got bruised in that fight, so in a way they somewhat respect her for it. Still, its own ego makes it pushes other members of the team away, which then leads to the budding of heads ( Mercy in particular).

It takes a while for Miraidon to even listen to R.B ( she isn't someone who is interested as interested in pokemon battles like Luca or Nemona, so why bother),but I don't think R.B gives up on it. I think she gathers all her patience on showing it that it doesn't need to be alone on its thrown. And more importantly, it doesn't need to be an asshole all the time ( maybe this is why she's particularly peeved with Kieran. She spent most of her patience with Miraidon lol).

All of this is to say that I think Miraidon and R.B is an interesting dynamic. I'm also realizing that her ( possibly) getting Pecharunt means that she tends to gravitate towards The Bullies and ultimately trying to show them there's a different, better, path. Kinda like how going to Naranja Uva academy showed her that she isn't the thing that people saw her as. I dunno. I think it's sweet. It also helps that both pokemon are purple lol.

I can hear the ocean in this picture, Hau's laughter, Raichu's snoring, and the creaking of wood. It's the swirls and colors of blues and white, the clouds in the bacground in the sky, the piers they're sitting on. Hau looks so happy, enjoying a good snack, good company, and a wonderful day at the water.

A flowing, soft design really fits Nessa well. The flares like petals and the soft petal colors suit her. She looks beautiful. <3

Nessa my beloved <3 made that sketch at the tail-end of last year and some days ago I finally finished it! I am so proud of the nacre effect on the dress, which was inspired by female Frillish and Jellicent. In general, I like this drawing, and I wanna draw Nessa in other cute Pokémon inspired outfits now. Also I decided to feature a shiny Luvdisc and 2 Finneon because they are always so forgotten.

I love drawing templates where the characters drawn interact with each other across the template's borders! It's just so neat, characters breaking the format = breaking the boundaries between them through space and time.

Like Nessa and Archie staring at each other, holding the same pose, with the power of the ocean behind them as a big wave. Which creates yet another interaction because Chili is in the middle panel between them. So, he gets soaked!

We have Rika and Geeta kissing each other, as if maybe the panel border is not there. Carmine reaches out to pinch Kieran's cheek. But unlike Rika and Geeta who share the same background, the siblings have different ones, showing that they're not in tune with each other in this interaction.

And Adaman is a mischief and stealing Avery's tophat from above. Avery has no idea what's happening or who this guy is. XDD

Such a lovely style for Reshiram. And the black tendrils can woroth both as smoke rising from its fiery tail as well as a connection to Zekrom. It makes me feel like looking at this picture in a museum and feeling the weightlessness as its flies as well as the heat.

So many lovely details. Bruno's hair in locs and in a bun? Beautiful. His beard? Pretty. Lance agrees, seeing as hearts are floating from him while he talks with Bruno.

There's something soft in this moment. How they are resting, talking with each other, both stretched in the grass.
