I get so irritated when people compare Jeith with another ship when they’re completely unrelated and will never be connected in any way. Who the fuck said it has to be? Sorry, but they’re completely independent of each other and honestly should stay that way.

Also, James has saved and protected Keith on more than one occasion on screen, in canon timeline. Keith punching him in the face when he went too far made James a better person, and most likely saved him from growing up to be an asshole when he realized how immature he was being and how much his words can hurt Keith. To me, this puts Jeith far above any other ships where Keith is the one constantly doing the one-sided saving.

Please start respecting Jeith as a stand-alone ship, because from the very start, it has always deserved to be its own damn pairing. And no offense, but other ships will never be as beautiful and more importantly, as equal as Jeith.

A lot of people hate on keith because they feel other POC characters aren’t getting enough spotlight, but I think all the characters should get equal amounts of screen time and development. I mean, yeah, Keith was kind of a jerk this season, but he went back and made up for it every time. He’s had a lot of development and people shouldn’t hate him just for that. ://

I honestly don’t get this kind of reasoning. The staff said Voltron is set in a future with a borderless world. So technically if there’s one PoC in the team? It’s only Keith, who is part alien. And whose alien heritage is that of their enemy race.

Can anyone clarify to me why Keith is disqualified from being a PoC rep? And why he’s treated as someone being given “white privileges” when he’s the one (1) and only paladin taken out of two seasons?

Voltron Panel confirmed they BROKE UP, 5 YEARS AGO (Adams POV), 2 YEARS AGO (Shiros POV)

In Season 7 Adam died, yes but SO DID MANY OTHERS WHO WERENT LGBTQ

In season 7 Shiro does show remorse for Adam, he was CRYING (we all show remorse in different ways)

In season 7 they didn’t make a big deal out of Shiro being gay because it is set in the future (after WW3) where it is likely being LGBTQ+ IS viewed as NORMAL in society

Voltron normalised lgbtq relationships

Voltron gave us a main lgbtq character (just because he’s single doesn’t change that)

Voltron showed  lgbtq relationships in ezor x zethrid and shadam (just because it didn’t fit in with your head canon doesn’t mean it doesn’t ‘count’)

Voltron didnt hype shadam the fandom did

Voltron and the VAs were excited to reveal the fat that Shiro being gay has been a known fact to them since season 2

And you reward them with death threats and black mail…

Kl/ance was never going to be canon y’all just convinced yourselves it was, and Shiro is still LGBTQ+ as a single man they never said Shiro and Adam were going to get back together. A character doesn’t need to explicitly be in a relationship to be LGBTQ+. Y’all literally don’t seem to understand what queerbaiting is

Can I just say I love this:

This right here is the most telling. Keith and Lance will have a story line with two different endings, one from Keith’s and the other from Lance.

And who, pray tell, are the two most important people intertwined with Keith and Lance?

Shiro and Allura.

That statement “Keith and Lance step into their *respective* story lines…” literally indicate Keith will continue with his story just as Lance will do with his.

And both men have Shiro and Allura, respectively, in their story lines.

Story lines meaning plural as in Keith’s story is separate from Lance’s.

Which means Keith’s story will have Shiro in it just as Lance will have Allura in his–especially after reading articles of Allura & Lance’s and Shiro & Keith’s bond deepening this season.

I just…I am so amazed at how far Sheith and Allurance have come with the fact we see so many positive articles showcasing their bonds and importance to each other in voltron is a blessing to have as both a shipper and fan of this series.

I can’t wait for season 7!!!
