Today I have done two assignments + a job application so I truly do get to do whatever the fuck I want for the rest of the day + I think that's beautiful.

Hundreds of Jewish anti-war demonstrators have been arrested during a Passover seder that doubled as a protest in New York, as they shut down a major thoroughfare to pray for a ceasefire and urge the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, to end US military aid to Israel.

The 300 or so arrests took place on Tuesday night at Grand Army Plaza, on the doorstep of Schumer’s Brooklyn residence, where thousands of mostly Jewish New Yorkers gathered for the seder, a ritual that marked the second night of the holiday celebrated as a festival of freedom by Jews worldwide.

The seder came just before the US Senate resoundingly passed a military package that includes $26bn for Israel.

It is wild that the farther I get away from bedside nursing, the more money I make. I understand the value of the more managerial roles I’m taking on, but I also do feel like pay should go up at a rate correlated to likelihood that someone I’m responsible for will poop on me, yell at me, or literally die. Instead I’m literally just answering emails. Two extra bucks an hour to use Microsoft teams.

#yeah this is really the thing I think about for every minute I spend in this management class #like definitely it makes sense that it is beneficial for someone to do administrative work + take a longer-term view etc etc #but it's not?? More important than everything else? + is maybe Less important? #+ bc those people are paid so much more they lose understanding of that

@ the awkward stage in a friendship where you're like 90% sure they'll drive you home at midnight from a party you're both at but you can't Count on it? So you've gotta, like, ask conspicuously about the bus schedule to give them an opportunity to offer?

it's always bad for adults to interact with minors, which is why when I was born my mother was positioned at the window and I was birthed down a giant slip n slide that safely transported me to the hospital grounds, where I was quickly accepted and raised by a gang of feral babies who were born under similar circumstances. and that's why my posts are so bad
