everything happens for a reason. i trusted the universe and it’s timing. i believed in the good things coming to me. i’m going home. my heart is going to be so so full.

if the first three months of 2018 have taught me anything it is this:

do not take anyone or anything for granted. always hug goodbye. say “i love you” as much as you can. show your love. smile. call more often. appreciate everything and everyone you have. breath.

our time here is finite and so is everyone else’s.

A strange fungus called devil’s tooth (Hydnellum peckii) excretes a red “juice” that’s sure to catch your eye—but don’t worry, it’s not blood! When the devil’s tooth is moist, it oozes droplets of the liquid. But this only happens when the fungus is young—as it grows, it turns brownish and stops secreting the jarring red juice. Believe it or not, this “bleeding” mushroom is not toxic! It is, however, mycorrhizal. This means it has a symbiotic relationship with the roots of a plant (in this case, coniferous trees), helping to provide nutrients while deriving carbohydrates produced from photosynthesis. never in my life did i think i would be writing a paper on transcendence, flow and immanence in german. so here i am, wanting so badly to write an extensive paragraph about the trip i had two weeks ago to explain my personal transcdental experience.

i watched the Earth be shaped by wind and water. my body and soul filled with Earths breath. Mother reminds me how powerful and peaceful she is.
