A Honest Review of Dorsett @ Grand Subang
Recently, my family and I have visited Malaysia, so of course, I just had to write a review of the hotel we stayed in. First of all, the location. The hotel isn't too far away from the mall, Sunway Pyramid, so for all you shopping lovers, you're in luck! There's an arcade, which is near an ice rink, and an archery place as well.
Moving on, let's talk about the lobby. The area was relatively clean, and there are places to just sit and relax. The staff were nice and really helpful, so that's also a big plus.
Now, let's discuss the room. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was extremely comfortable. After a long day, the bed is the perfect treat! It felt so good to snuggle into those soft sheets. There was also a desk where you can do your work, plenty of sockets as well. As for the bathroom, it was basically spotless. There's a water heater, so you can take your relaxing hot shower, and loosen up.
Lastly, let's talk about the food. There was a breakfast buffet, and it was pretty decent. Although the choices didn't change at all, so it gets mediocre after a while.
All in all, we had a good experience in the hotel, as well as Malaysia.
If you plan to visit Malaysia, what are you looking forward to do? Would you stay in this hotel? Let us know!

An Honest Review Of Novotel @ Araneta City
First things first, we have to mention the location, if you're one that enjoys shopping, the location of the hotel is perfect for you. Just a 5 minute walk and you're at Gateway Mall, and on the way you'll pass by Smart Araneta Coliseum where there are loads of events to watch.
Now we move on to the lobby of the hotel, it's relatively small though there's a section to relax, and it boasts a digital gaming table where you could play things like sudoku, the Angry Birds series & various games for different ages.
Despite the building being 9 years old, you wouldn't notice any signs of damage as the hotel was properly maintained. The hallways were noticeably clean and the elevators were often being checked by hotel employees. The hotel also offers a gym service for guests of the hotel as well as a kids club for their children while they stay fit. If the guests aren't interested in those, there's a pool right outside and a playground for the little ones. Of course, if you want to relax, they also have a spa, though it isn't included when you check in and have to pay for the service.
Where we stayed was the 5th floor and the rooms were clean, and they gave us complimentary polvorón and snacks with mango and kalamansi juice. The room wasn't big but it was just enough, & the bathroom was big considering the size of the room. The beds were comfortable as compared to other hotels, you couldn't feel the springs on the bed. I'm not a fan of pillows you sink into so I was surprised to find that the pillows were firmer than usual. The view wasn't anything impressive but you get to see the city from a higher point so that's nice to see. A fast internet service was mentioned on the login page of the hotel though this was far from the truth, so if you're gonna be finishing up some work, then you better get a high speed data plan.
The hotel has a buffet that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner though none of the food is notable to an extent is understandable because it is a buffet so quantity is prioritized over quality. Overall it was a good experience and the service of the employees were commendable so I can safely say that this hotel is worthy of your hard earned money.
