i love online friendships so much. i have a friend who i’ve been gaming with for like a year now??? (maybe longer.) the other night we were playing minecraft and they were like “sometimes i forget your real name” and i admitted the same. like we follow each other on instagram and have access to each other’s real names, but no. i’m just “frog” and they’re just “sheriff” and that’s it ◡̈

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

personally if i were an artist and teenage girls happened to gravitate towards my art i would consider that the highest fucking honour imaginable

My bf and I had the best moment today. It wasn't picturesque, although I wish it was, but it was just as amazing. It was in an alley, with trash on the opposite side of us, and cars belonging to workers parked behind the buildings.

But there were these beautiful bushes of Ninebark, spanning probably 30 feet long, blooming with flowers. It wasn't until we walked past, using the shortcut of the alley, that we were surrounded with butterflies. We realized they were in the bushes. Easily at least a hundred of them. Flitting about in the nice weather. Despite our disturbance, they continued to swirl around us and land in the bushes.

We stayed there easily at least 10 minutes, admiring them and smelling the flowers. The bees were even chill (which my boyfriend insists is a miracle, but I reassured was just because we were chill lol).

I wish it could've been more picturesque, and we could've filmed it. But I still wouldn't change that little moment for anything. It was exactly what we needed.

Saw somebody talking about how sick they are of saturated colorful lighting in media. Could NOT be me. I want every room I enter to look like the set of a giallo flic.
