Just a thought...

Sooo I've been analyzing the chance of translating my fanfic (Nevra x Gardienne) to English for a time now, but not sure if this part of is still alive? I'm also not sure where to post it, if just here in Tumblr or any other platform that you guys use lol

@tetrakys I think the issue is that people don't get that seeing all of Alexis' actions as bad (and Beemoov in general) doesn't mean that you actively support all of what they do. That extreme polarization is just insane. I totally understood your point with the post, I mean, the tea was delicious lol not gonna lie, but yeah. People are so blinded by rage that they don't understand that having a terrible product being delivered doesn't make only the writers accountable, but the team in general. If you write sh*t and the PM goes like "yeah, like it", there's no way back.

As you mentioned, that was the difference between ANE and AL. Both had their flaws (ANE more than AL), but the key strength for AL was that someone who actually KNEW the story, in this case, Chino, coordinated the project. Alexis is not a terrible writer per se and what he did with ANE has no justification at all, but to hold only him accountable for all that trash is just unfair too.

My point is -- you were totally clear with your point, at least that's what I think. I've been silently following your content since some time ago, but I felt in the need to add my thoughts on this because it's SO TIRING that people don't understand that not everything is black or white only. I have a Facebook page and I was recently attacked for being a Beemoov supporter just cause I'm not always trashtalking about all of their decisions, so I get you lol

I love that out of the whole essay I wrote yesterday, people's take away has been "Tetrakys isn’t objective because she justifies Alexis and the company".

Are you serious? I HATE what was done to Eldarya. If I could meet ANE's team and Beemoov's management I would insult them all for a whole day and then demand compensation for all the money I wasted on Eldarya. Only someone who has never been on my blog can think I justify any of that. The dude has DESTROYED Lance and turned him into a spineless, foolish baffoon. Plus he put zero romance in a romance game. Wtf is that.

My final take was that with careful supervision the final product can be much better, because AL is so much better and it makes me angry that it couldn't be the same in Eldarya. It’s not justifiable that he didn’t know anything of the previous season of the game he was hired to write for, and the project manager clearly didn’t do shit either. That's why I don’t only blame him but the whole company. They set themselves up for disaster and have rightly been paying the price ever since. I hope karma punishes them all even more for what they did to my favourite game.

As much as Aerye would love to dress as she did six years ago, she knew she had to fake a "little bit of more age" and the fact that she was already centered on her life. I mean, she is but... not as a scientist lol

Aerye wasn't sure of this dress, but was convinced by Purriry's ""discount"" lol. Even if she's not that confident of going full show-off, she is getting used to it.

Aerye is living the Winx dream lol. When she was younger, she used to watch Winx, and dreamed about becoming Stella... or one of the Trix. She was specially fond of Icy, since they look quite familiar, don't they?

Day 19: Introduce your Guardian's future child!

Yeah, the baby got her dad's shit face lol. Her name is Adalisse, even if Nevra almost prayed to convince Aerye to name her Darianne. She is a vampire/esper, and some of her parents' friends say that she got both the best and worst personality traits from them. She is super caring, diligent, wise, kind-hearted and never gives up, but... at the same time, she is stubborn af and gosh, HER TEMPER. She also got her father's seductress tendencies, so yep.

Adalisse is able to control fire, and as a vampire hybrid, she has above average stamina and strength, not as much as a pure breed, though. When she turned 15, her parents decided to join the Guard once again, and she convinced them to join as well. She got sorted out into the Obsidian Guard, much to her annoyance since she wanted to be in the same guard her parents were. She got her father's eyes, and while her hair is not as white as her mother's, she got it from her, along with her freckles. Adalisse is into wearing clothes that resemble her father's style, using her mother's dagger.

Oh... and she is super in love with Lance's son, but try to convince her about her feelings lol. Proud as her dad, stubborn as her mom. Worst combo ever.

Day 18: To the battlefield, Guardians! Prepare your armour and weapons: Dress up accordingly for your Guard's fighting class!

As you can see, Aerye is more of a close-combat person. Yes, she has a sword somewhere in her room, but the dagger and her powers seem like a better option. When Mathieu showed her (more like sketched) the attire that Black Widow wore in her movie, Aerye got OBSESSED with it, to the point of asking Purriry to do something as similar as possible in two different colors: black and white. For stealth missions, she takes the black one, using the white one for combats.

Day 17: You're visiting the Fenghuangs: dress in Asia-inspired clothing!

You might think she is living her life, but gURLLL. Her first time with Nevra and her confession was at the FengHuang's temple, so when she had to come back... imagine trying to act as if they did not do it on a holy place lol.

Day 16: Picnic in the Fountain Park: Dress for the occasion!

Aerye is usually the one who convices Karuto to take the food outside of the HQ. She likes picnics more than anyone, especially when spring's on the part where it's not hot, yet not cold. Her frequent companions are Eweleïn, Koori and Karenn... and, well, Miiko joins in time to time.

Day 15: Explore the warmer regions, and put on light clothes!

Of course Aerye hates the warmer regions of Eldarya lol. Her skin gets red easily, and because of how much she tries to give herself fresh air to keep her body temperature at a decent one, she gets tired and irritated. When the Guard sends her on this type of missions, they usually send her alone because of how annoying she can get... or they send Nevra with her.

Day 14: Valentine’s Day: Surprise your sweetheart with a seductive outfit!

As bold as she might look, Aerye actually has a lot of trouble to even flirt with someone lol so it's no surprise that little Nevra has to do most of the seducing job... unless she doesn't feel like "obeying". Nevra likes to see her using red, transparent clothes... and the lipstick just drives him mad, even if he knows his face will end up as if he just ate a giant candy.

Day 13: Since friendship is very good: Try to cosplay one of your fellow friends!

Outside of work, Miiko and Aerye are actually really friendly with each other. In my fanfic, Miiko is still the chief of the Guard, and usually trusts Aerye with under-the-table investigations. She asked Aerye for help to uncover the daemon's identity, Huang Hua's true intentions and the truth about Mathieu's goals. They trust each other a lot, to the extent of technically allowing Aerye to do as she pleases, as long as it is for a good deed.

Day 12: Head to Karuto's Kitchen and take him through the Gates of Heaven with your cooking. Choose an appropriate attire!

Even if it doesn't look like it, Aerye knows how to cook. She started learning since she was 12, because he father had to work and she was alone for most of the afternoon. After a stressful mission, cooking is what saves this girl :).

Day 11: Introduce your Guardian's father!

This is literally the best I could do with a female avatar lol his name is Edwin Förstner, and as her wife and daughter, he is an esper. He was born in Germany, but lived in Eldarya for almost all his childhood. He moved back to Eldarya a year after her daughter did, and is currently helping out his wife with diplomatic missions for Reessia.

He is not the "I'm always pissed off" type like his daughter or wife, but when he gets mad, you only have like two seconds to run for your life. Opposite to his wife, he LOVES Nevra, to the extent of calling him "my long lost son".

Day 10: Introduce your Guardian's mother!

Aerye's mother faked her death after the truth of her identity was in danger. As her daughter, she is an esper, and was born in Poland. On Earth, she went by the name Arianne Czajkowski-Förstner, changing her name to Henrietta D'Arquien when she had to escape to Eldarya. Currently, she is the prime minister of Reessia, a city with a powerful army and feared by the kitsunes.

At Eldarya, she adopted an orphan that lived in Reessia, along with Chrome. Even if she acts cold sometimes, she really loves her family and would do anything to keep them safe she hates Nevra tho lol.

Day 9: The snowy mountains await you to explore them, so dress warmly!

Well, someone wasn't eager to meet her "friend" Tenjin. She had a moment with Nevra while making the guard, and couldn't stop with their constant flirting despite being ""ex-lovers"" (with a lot of "!).
