Hi archeology anon again. The field is WONDERFUL and we’re staying to see more minorities coming in. This is really exciting as here in America, it is still mostly old white dudes digging up native artifacts. There should always be a connection, in my opinion. I will say, a lot of times it is kind of boring and…full of men but very rewarding. I actually work preserving bones in a museum and am not in the field as much right now. It’s super fun but I actually had to move to North Carolina for my degree as there’s only 1 school that you can get a direct archeology degree instead of an anthropology degree. Please look more into it! 🦉

Im so sorry for the late reply, I havent been on Tumblr lately.

I use the colors to indicate whether they are closed or open, if the word closed is colored then it's closed, if it's the word open that's colored then it's open.

I'm on mobile so I'm not quite sure if these show up for the web version or not, if it doesnt, please let me know so I can use other means to signify whether my requests are open or closed!
