Not at all my usual fair on this blog, but when I saw these I had a vivid vision of me in 2nd grade, trying to write a story about robot dinosaurs. I hope this artwork takes you back to a similar feeling of childlike wonder.
One of my coworkers was telling me that they had seen these really cute trilobite plushies at another gift shop and recommended them to the store manager at our museum, which lead to us scrolling through the manufacturer's website together on shift today and SHRIEKING with laughter at the exact same moment when we simultaneously noticed that they sell a giant $100 eurypterid body pillow
this leucistic turkey vulture was spotted and photographed in ontario, canada. its unusual piebald appareance is due to a genetic mutation causing a lack of pigmentation. since melanin aids in feather development, this bird’s white feathers are likely weaker and more likely to grow worn faster.
