did you know that if you take the hanzomon line to omote-sando (one stop from shibuya) and then transfer to the ginza line (and then other metro lines!) you can get to many popular tourist areas without traversing the very crowded JR stations? you sacrifice the view of the outside due to most of the metro being underground but it's worth it in my opinion, especially for first timers. omote-sando is also a great middle point for the shibuya-harajuku-yoyogi park area, which is very easy to navigate on foot

#i wouldn't recommend the den-en-toshi line after 5pm on weekdays it's consistently very crowded until last train #hanzomon is usually pretty medium. ginza gets crowded but denentoshi and yamanote are by far the most crowded trains ive ever been on #no matter where u go tho at the end of the day it is tokyo and its going to be busy during rush hour #usually going away from big transfer stations like shibuya and shinjuku in the morning #and going towards them in the evening is the way to go 👍 #sorry i miss tokyo #i miss walking and taking trains ugh #t
