We are still working out the specifics. In the meantime, I can assure you that:

Any changes or additions to the skins and festivals will happen with a new festival cycle. Ie: Brightshine Jubilee 2024 kicks off a new cycle of festivals. No changes or additions will be in effect for Greenskeeper Gathering 2024.

Our approach here is that any hatchling skins that are festival skins and a part of gameplay, will be that they are in addition to, not in replacement of adult skins. Everyone can use adult dragon skins. Hatchling skins, however, require an eternal youth scroll to apply, something not everyone has access to.

And to reiterate what Aequorin said, the suggestions forum is a great place to offer up ideas on hatchling skins and festivals.

It's actually so unbelievably hilarious that the "thomas real" meme has been around for almost 3 years now and I still clap my hands in joy like a seal every time someone mentions it in a post. It's literally just a stock photo of some guy but the Dustcarve Dig Madness made us all think it was the funniest thing in the world. I think for thomas' 3rd birthday they should release a new beastclan npc that looks suspiciously like him and we can all relive June 2021 again.

for own future reference, this is how to make everything clip properly in Krita. unset all 'pass-through' layer groups, create an alpha mask from the full silhouette from the skin group, and shove it in over the lines and shadows, set the shadows and lines to clip. Now you can't color outside the lines. win!
