Mexico: A Timelapse Project from Zach.Rogers on Vimeo.
The box is telling me, "Tell the story behind your video" Well, I think if I told the full story we'd all be sitting here until our butts went numb, so I'll sum up the important parts. Basically this project is my best attempt at a thank you gift (it probably would've been easier to send some flowers now that I think about it) to Mexico and all of the people I've met in the past couple of years from this amazing country. While I've been learning Spanish these last couple of years I've made as many trips to Mexico as possible to practice speaking. At least that's why I started visiting at first. Later I realized that that reason I kept going back wasn't mainly to practice my Spanish, but rather to be in company of the amazing people there. Did I fall in love with the country? Definitely, but more importantly I fell in love with the people, and that's the reason that I made this film.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in the making of this film and to all of the people who accepted me with open arms in Mexico. I really love you guys.
"Mexico: A Timelapse Project" is the product of two years of learning Spanish to take a 6 month roadtrip and create a film of the most beautiful places I could find in Mexico.
DISCLAIMER: Oh, yeah almost forgot. There is one shot that I took in california, the shot of the rainbow. Really just loved that shot and didn't want it to rot forever on a hard drive without anyone ever seeing it.
Jaja

Rogue Storm (Bagan, Myanmar) timelapse 4K from Martien Janssen on Vimeo.
Ancient city of temples Bagan lies in the desert of Myanmar and is known as a dry zone. The fierce monsoon can barely touch this region with its rains and storms. Years pass without a single lightning storm.
Imagine my luck when during my visit one night 3 lightning storms passed over Bagan and I was able to capture a bunch a timelapses with my 3 cameras. This is a movie about that lucky night and the monsoon clouds that pass over and by Bagan.

FLYING OVER BAGAN – Stunning drone views of Bagan, Myanmar from Martien Janssen on Vimeo.
'Flying over Bagan' shows you stunning drone views of Bagan, Myanmar. Over 2200 Buddhist temples, pagodas and stupas still stand in this ancient city of roughly 1000 years old, reminding us of when the Pagan Dynasty ruled this region. Back then over 10.000 structures were erected with over 2 million people living and trading between them, the largest city on our planet when London only had 20.000 people.
Walking around at Bagan is like wandering through a fairy tale landscape. It is known as one of the the most beautiful locations on the planet for a balloon ride. Now that all the temples are closed and you can no longer see the sunrise and sunset from atop the structures, the balloon business has grown a lot and there are a lot of hot air balloons at sunrise!
My drone movie 'FLYING OVER BAGAN – Stunning drone views of Bagan, Myanmar' was shot as a side project of my big timelapse & photo project and shot over the course of 11 weeks during 3 visits. Visit my website (link below) for the other movies, or find them on this channel.

TIMEBLEND – Drawing with light by blending time (Bagan, Myanmar) from Martien Janssen on Vimeo.
TIMEBLEND is the fourth movie of my Bagan timelapse pentalogy. It’s a ‘creative timelapse movie’ of Bagan using a blending technique to capture the element of time. By blending images from the timelapse sequence with each other, I aim to show the changes that occur over time blended into each frame. It captures time in a way we can’t perceive with our own eyes. You’re no longer looking at a moment, but a blend of time that can show the trails of the stars for an entire night of up to 10 hours.
In other words, what you’re looking at is the motion of time and change of light. So in a way ‘I’m ‘drawing with light by blending time’.
To me my ongoing project TimeScapes (of which TimeBlend is part of) is about playing with the element of time, combining images to create a new type of dimension in which you’re no longer looking at a moment, but a time-frame. I love how it allows you to see the movement of the clouds & stars and the colors and effects that appear, simply by blending each new frame with previous frame. The technique used is similar to creating star-trails, also named cloud-stacking for clouds.

Nox Atacama III from Martin Heck | Timestorm Films on Vimeo.
Home to the darkest and cleanest skies in the world, the Atacama Desert offers views to the nightsky like no other. 2 years after the very successful first video "Nox Atacama" we return to this magnificent region and get rewarded with uncountable numbers of stars and fantastic nebulae in one of the most quiet a empty places on earth. Not a single noise distracts from the grand show the nightsky has to offer. "Nox Atacama II" was also filmed in this period. Check it out here: youtube.com/watch?v=V6TqGLBY4hI Filmed over a month in Mar/April 2019, I worked in freezing temperatures, altitudes up to 5200m/17000ft, salt lakes and icy slopes. The Atacama is not welcoming to life and equipment. The lack of oxygen makes it tough to get anything done in these high altitudes. But it provides without doubt for epic and vast vistas of one of the greatest landscapes on earth. Some additional, unreleased scenes where used from my 2017 trip to the Atacama Desert.

Night Light from Arthur Cauty | Filmmaker on Vimeo.
An exercise in light painting and parallax displacement to create the illusion of 3D (or 2.5D) and motion in a series of still photographs captured after nightfall.
This film is comprised entirely of still images. All motion achieved in post production. The only time lapse shots are the star trails. All other shots are typically comprised of between 3 and 5 exposures of the same subject, but with different lighting in each, then blended together or transitioned between to give the effect of seamless motion.
The COVID19 pandemic forced me to put a number of projects on hold. Being unable to shoot anything new I took the opportunity to look back through my astrophotography and nightscape work from the past couple of years. I put this film together as a reminder of what exists outside my four walls and so others can enjoy the wonders of the night sky from their solitary confines.
"Arthur Cauty is a dab hand at capturing moonlight magic. His latest film of astrophotography and light painting is so beguiling, it’s better than communing with a coyote for an almost spiritual calm" - Devon & Cornwall Film

The Golden State from Michael Shainblum on Vimeo.
Hey friends, I have been working on a bunch of new videos during this time in Quarantine due to Covid 19. Today I want to share some of my favorite scenes shot around California over the years. Some memories of incredible moments out in nature in my home state.
I learned how to take photos here and spent most of my early career photographing these spots. California holds a special place in my heart. I have always appreciated the beautiful diversity of landscapes from the Dramatic Yosemite cliffs to the colorful rock formations in Death Valley. I know things are tough right now and I hope some of these scenes brighten up your day a bit!
The locations featured in this short film are Mount Wilson, Lone Pine, Death Valley National Park, Yosemite National Park, La Jolla, Ridgecrest, Mono Lake, San Francisco Coastline, Santa Barbara, Folsom Lake, The White Mountains, Davenport,

I am excited to share my new collection of night sky, startrail timelapses. These trails were created by blending hundreds of long exposure images for each individual timelapse. The intro sequences are a blend of startrail timelapses mixed with regular night sky timelapses to create a singular shooting star effect. This was a super fun passion project to work on over the years, I have a few more time-blended videos to share in the near future!

JUTLAND II | Breath of the Seasons from Jonas Høholt on Vimeo.
Watch in 4K or HD with headphones or quality sound in fullscreen - thank you! For use of footage, licensing and general inquiries contact me at [email protected]
'Breath of the Seasons' has been my personal project from early 2017 until early 2020. Living around the Jutland peninsula in Denmark my entire life, what inspired me to make this film was the very difference between winter, spring, summer and autumn in the already diverse Jutlandic landscapes - and the visually beautiful story this has. To show this cycle in nature through timelapse photography has been a mammoth task and a huge completion for me personally. It has driven me through all spectres emotionally; exhaustion, excitement, despair, joy and everything in between. The countless hours spent on locations made me see and feel the difference of all four seasons. It opened my eyes to how similar nature actually is to humans; As nature takes a single breath all four seasons play before our eyes until she’s ready for the next breath and it all starts over again. Energy is everywhere and nothing is at a standstill.

New Zealand Landscapes Time Lapse - Total Isolation 4k from Bevan Percival on Vimeo.
Watch in 4K, sound on. All scenes shot over the last 6 months prior to lock down. New Zealand Total Isolation is my latest time lapse show reel of the beautiful New Zealand wilderness landscapes. All sequences shot as full 'holy grail' time lapse scenes - that is full sequences from day through night back to day, requiring 3000 to 5000 frames each sequence.
While we are all in lock down isolation here due to the current pandemic situation we can only reminisce at present what it's like to be out in the wilderness. If your like me and can't stand being 'caged up' maybe watching this show reel unfold in front of your eyes will help ease your soul? I hope so.
Shooting this stuff had (as always) it's fair share of drama and in the end I processed it short of a few 'big mission' scenes that I had timed for the March and April dark sky periods where the core of the milky way really is starting to blaze in our dark skies well above the horizon again - well as you know that's out of the question at present.
So many times over the course of shooting these challenging all night scenes my body, soul, mind and gear were beaten up by the elements and bad luck or other unknown forces, however there is just something about our earth, our land and the time spent in it that just brings you back time and time again. I always seem to have unfinished business, chasing the elusive and beautiful landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand, and I can't wait to get back out there, soon, it's still there, waiting.
If your currently in isolation and missing that connection with the wilderness I hope watching this brings a little piece of it to where ever you are.

New Zealand Landscapes Time Lapse - Time Warp from Bevan Percival on Vimeo.
The 'lock down' has given me some time to finally put some footage together and share it on line. All these scenes were shot over the last 12 months when I was really trying to work out the best way to shoot full holy grail time lapse scenes, some of these started out that way but ended up as shorter sequences when something in my rig failed or something else got in the way.
I miss the connection with the wild places at present, but I have these little pieces of time spent in the land to hold on to.
