#I wouldn't say I hate the cover but there's definitely some... missed potential #One of the biggest things that stands out to me is Meiko's tuning (I know so original) but it's not that it's bad??? #You can tell the layered vocals thing she has is intentional because of how she doesn't have it at times #at least in the full ver; I'd have to check the game version #but no one else has anything remotely similar?? so it just feels off in comparison #and I think they realized how weird it was in context with the full ver since Meiko's lines are... almost non-existent in the second verse #but I think the song as a whole could have been executed better #Meiko is trying her best to add the growl to the vocals that Flower has but the members of WxS don't really have that?? #so it just feels even more disjointed and brings more attention to Meiko and how different she is #I guess my thing is just the lack of cohesion then #Don't get me wrong; I like the full cover #but I do think they could have done *more* to make it less... rough

I genuinely adore the characters. Some more than others - I feel like my favorites are obvious - but they're all so special in their own way. Even the characters I'm not the biggest fan of are still good and written well; they're just not my cup of tea.

The background music is beautiful, and I genuinely wish there was a way to listen to the BGM outside of YouTube videos. Yes, it's not the music you should be paying attention to, but the music adds so much to the story scenes.

Do I even need to explain how much I adore the art? I genuinely wish I had the ability to create something as beautiful as the card artwork; maybe someday...

And of course, I can't go without praising the gameplay. I downloaded the game because Hatsune Miku Rhythm Game But On Your Phone, and for a portion of time, I completely ignored the original story. I didn't care about these new characters, I just wanted to play my funky little rhythm game that I was bad at but shhhh. If I didn't enjoy the gameplay, then I honestly would not have played this game as long as I have - I would have simply deleted the game and gone about my day.

There's just so much to love about this funky little game on my phone; words cannot do it justice.

The 3DMV for Beyond the way references some choreography from previous VBS 3DMVs. Firstly, there's one part where all 5 of them move closer together and jump, which was also used in the DAYBREAK FRONTLINE dance.

Near the end of the song, there's a part where Akito and Toya stand back-to-back and raise their arms in the air. This seems to call back to part of the Fragile choreo.

Finally, when Kohane sings the lyric "Ready Steady? Get out the way" in Beyond the way, she does the same hand gesture that she, An, and Miku did when she sung the lyric "Ready Steady" in the song of the same name.
