guh sorry for the lack of fic writing i have not been having motivation to do anything. kinda flipping thru my WIP fics and wrting a few sentences for each one so no specific update yet. Time Travel percys gonna make a friend on the train. eldest daughter percy is going to have to manage all the kids by himself at diagon alley and we all know that with harry there, lockheart, and malfoy picking a fight with his diary its going to be a disaster. shitttt i literally just said last update that lucius wasnt gonna come back for a bit but diagon is in two weeks fic wise. LLLL i love pet sirius fic but no idea where im going with it. or i have a point a and point b but no in between or how to get there :(

You know what I just realized? No one ever told Neville of Sirius innocence. Yet he went to go on the rescue mission in fifth year when he thought he was in danger.

That means Neville literally just saw how worried Harry was, and just made a quick, and correct, decision that Sirius must be innocent. Neville dropped everything to try and help save someone he didn’t even know because his friends were worried about that person!

I’d declare that Neville is the kindest dude in that series if I didn’t already know that. And overall, Neville doesn’t get near as much appreciation as he should.

a little kid came up to the desk (it came up to his like, collarbone) and very seriously asked me about baby name books, because he wanted to help name his new sibling. i guided him to the shelf (there were only two book of names) and pointed out the differences between them, and after some serious contemplation he went, “I think I should take both, just in case.” So I gave him both and he thanked me and went on his way.

And I went back to my desk and screamed into my arm for like 45 years because HE WAS SO FUCKING ADORABLE AAAAA

Percy, the wonderful king of firsties

Ginny, the twins, and Ron don't confide in Percy like the other siblings at Hogwarts. Percy feels useless as a big brother and not needed, so once more reminds them that he's always in the library if they change their minds. While Percy's working on an assignment at his normal spot, light shuffling steps stop right before him. Percy's head is buried in a book and he's half paying attention when a small first year asks him for help. The boy confesses that he overheard Percy tell his family he was always available for help, and he thought since he doesn't have any siblings or friends he could ask Percy for help.

Percy agreed reluctantly not realizing he immediately said yes to someone who's not a Weasley sibling. At the end when they finished the first year Gryffindor is appreciative and more confident, rushing off with a big smile.

A couple days later Percy's at the table when he hears something, perking his head up there are now a few first years with pleading eyes. He waves them over and bright smiles shine back at him.

A week later Percy lifts his eyes above his book and he sees he's surrounded by a small crowd of children, ranging in houses and eager for his guidance. There are some Slytherins who show up to the session Percy leads shy and excited. At a certain point the first years bring homemade cookies (requested by children from parents), knitted/crochet items, and drawings of him/random things to gift him for allowing them to hang out with Percy.

What if

the twins locking Percy in the pyramid led to him de-aging due to a trap/curse or something

and like in a permanent way they can't break it because it will just age him younger and younger the more they try and they fear eventually he'll just you know poof

but he will age normally again now so he's not like stuck at 7 he's just you know currently like 7 (or 10 or 12 idk)

point is what kind of differences does it make

is he still you know? himself

or did he forget everything after that age

both are fun concepts

how does it affect family dynamics now that he can't really fill his older brother duties as easily

how does the school handle it if he is still with his memories does he still go into his 7th year or sent back

is it just his physical body or is his magic core weaker again too if you tend to use that concept

how do Fred and George feel do they finally feel like they've fucked up or just find it hilarious
