“ a ghost is waaaaay too boring, professor! you’ve got to think bigger than that! ” not that she’s one to talk. her costume — as well made and adorable as it is — isn’t particularly anything creative either, but it was least something out of the usual realm of things like ghouls or ghosts! stretching the measuring tape along the older woman’s shoulders, she huffs. “ with the colors of fabric that i have leftover, we could go for so much more than that. why not a witch? or a succubus? hm… ” well, she’s got her gears going, at least.
“ hm. ” as the tape is stretched next across her chest, she ponders an answer that will make hilda happy. “ a vampire ? ” the colors don’t exactly match the colors of fabric laying about, but perhaps the girl has others stashed away somewhere.

“ weeeeelllllll… ” she just so happens to have plenty of extra fabric still lying around, and there’s still more than enough time before the celebratory activities of the evening. she could whip something up for their dear professor if she focused hard enough. cue her pulling out a small measuring tape from her sleeve with a smile. “ what do you think you’d like to be? i’m sure i could manage something for you! ”
she honestly has no idea what a good answer to hilda’s question might be, but now that she knows there’s some sort of prize involved, she has to come up with something. she stands still while the fairy outstretches her measuring tape. “ a ghost --- ? ” her answer is not confident, and she steels herself for a laugh from the other.

she can’t remember a time that jeralt put her in a costume, even when she was a child. “ i don’t think so. ” she hadn’t been planning on dressing up, but she supposes she won’t have a choice now that hilda has this information.
