“You don’t know my side of things. You don’t know how I felt or how I feel.” She said, continuing to nudge the drink towards Petunia. It did in fact have Petunia’s misspelled name on it, so she really had just purposely drank out of it to be petty. Her lipstick stained the lid slightly. “I can’t stand girls like you. You think just because you’re hot, you can just get away with anything, right? Like I literally just came here to get a coffee. I didn’t even speak to you. You confronted me.”
‘ people like you always want back the love they gave away. ’ petunia
Vicki did not need this confrontation. Not now. She was on the edge of an emotional breakdown - when wasn't she, anymore? - and at this point, she had just wanted to get coffee. She hadn't expected to run into the pretty redheaded reporter who was currently dating Larry. She ignored her at first, grabbed a cup from the counter, and took a sip, then, turning around and staring Petunia dead in the eyes, she said, "Oh. This must be yours, 'Petubua'. It tastes salty." She held out the coffee dramatically. "So people aren't allowed to have lingering feelings now? Are you the feelings police?"

Victoria - how are you taking the news that Milward and Daphne are officially an item?
"Not fucking well," Victoria answered, sniffling. "I just... don't understand! He didn't even break up with me first. He acted like we were never dating! He's a jerk, and - and Daphne knew, she knew how I felt about him and yet she... after I tried..."

"Petubua? I don't know a Petubua," Vicki said, using the typo to get out of honesty portion of the question. "sorry. Sounds like she could be pretty, maybe smash."

"Well, maybe we can do both. I... I could just really use... a friend right now," Victoria said softly. She felt tears burn at her eyes, and she blinked them away quickly, turning. "You know, I think I can make us some hot chocolate. You like chocolate? Milward does, and I planned to surprise him with... a little hot chocolate bar. Like, with mix-ins in and stuff? But um... I don't... I don't want it to go to waste, and..." her voice trembled and cracked, and she covered her mouth with an invisible hand. "I'm sorry, I'm such a fucking mess."
“ you know i make those cookies you like . ” (from Victoria)

"Yeah, I... I thought maybe... since I'm going to be spending Christmas alone, we... if you don't have plans, we could... bake cookies. Talk about... life. Maybe start over?"

"Milward, I've been asking you for ages! I... I even got you a special gift," Victoria's voice cracked, and she was trying to hold herself together but wanted to cry.
“ you’re gonna leave me all alone ?? on christmas ?? ” (Vicki - err, Victoria, SoC)
Milward let out a sigh so deep he almost fainted. Between Cavis being mad at him, Jabez not making it through the winter and now this girl he barely knew whining at him, he felt himself reaching a breaking point. "I'm just... really busy with this play!"

Are you still even interested in Larry? It seems like Petunia is the one you've been focused on
"I have many interests, I contain multitudes."

"Oh my god, what? Why'd she leave you?" Vicky was nosy as hell, and could barely stifle a laugh as she tried to pretend to be sympathetic. "You can traumadump to little old me, little old Vicki." She smiled, and while you can't tell the difference audibly it's important here that it's spelled with an i and not a y.
"yeah, well, you know. all relationships have problems." (from archie)

Petunia wanted to roll her eyes, but refrained from doing so. "Are you only going after married men now?"

"I've literally never gone after a married man in my life." Vicky paused to think. "Though, maybe I should."

"Maybe... five o'clock?" Victoria suggested. "Can't come soon enough..."
“Well this is awkward…” (can either be main verse or Star of Christmas up to you!)
Victoria Darcy glowered at the redheaded reporter. She pursed her lips and fluffed her own hair, trying to seem more put together than she actually was, given the morning she had.
"Oh, Daffy, isn't it?" She said, pretending she didn't full-well know Daphne Woodbridge, the pretty, doe-eyed reporter for the London Gazette. "I expect it would be awkward to you - seems everything comes awkwardly to you, really. Don't tell me you came sniffing around this burnt out theater for a story? Wasn't it enough of a disaster without your help?"

"Remember those days on the field, Daphne? The old stomping ground, eh?" She sighed, closing her eyes and remembering.

Victoria paused at the question, and she understood then how much she and Daphne really did have in common. "I... I just can't take it. When all I want to do is just spend the day with..." she paused, curious if Daphne even remembered their old chums. "Greg, and Steve, and Stu... and Mark..."
It all made her feel so wistful and nostalgic.
