So I just finally finished the SSR Birthday card and... good god, Rosa has too much power over this man. Too much.

Some still think that Vyn is a cause for concern, but you want to know what's truly scary? Rosa could destroy this man if she so decided to. (She wouldn't of course, that's also the player's decision) He always says he won't end up like his father, but let me say genetics are strong. If Rosa broke his heart, he would not be okay for a very long time. He is already doomed, he is already too far gone. But also, I can imagine that he thinks "If there is one person allowed to destroy me, it would be Rosa."

To me the interesting thing is that Rosa is enough her own character that I can tell that Vyn is even more of a hopeless romantic than she is. He is probably more emotional on the inside than she is. Honestly, Rosa's a pretty logical sort of lady (I love her so much ♥) but Vyn is like... a Disney Princess. I can just intuit and deduce that Vyn is the sort of person who really loved fairytales as a little lad and he so much wanted to find his true love, his soulmate, his other half, like in the fairytales, but as he got older and learned the darkness of the world around him, became like, as the negative like to call themselves, a "disappointed idealist". That is until Rosa appeared into his life, then he became like that little child again, believing in magic and things like that. His heart became like soft cotton candy and his glasses are like permanently "Rose" tinted when she's around now. Vyn really is the "heart" of the group, and the more I learn, the more abundantly clear it is.

Vyn isn't amazingly smooth because of some psychiatrist, psychological training, he's smooth because he is naturally a sparkly eyed, whimsical, romantic. I'll bet there are some that are like "Don't you think you're being a bit dramatic?" but no, that's just how he naturally expresses himself. He speaks in flowery language and would probably write poetry if he didn't have his Dictaphone, because he's just that emotional. I would not be surprised if the reason he speaks so precisely was because of how much he might be normally misunderstood, but because he speaks so incredibly precisely it often causes even more misunderstanding.

How do I know? Because I relate way too much and I keep feeling deja vu when I read the dialogues with him.
