This has been on my mind eversince I read Homura’s Revenge like a year ago. Why did the fan translator(s) decide that Sayaka should know the specific shotgun which Homu was using.

In the original Japanese text, I highly doubt that she states the brand and model.

Like, She is a 14 year old Japanese high school student, while not impossible. That type of person is unlikely to have an interest in firearms. It makes more since to her just to say “shotgun”

I am not mad or anything, as Gun-nerd Sayaka is a fucking hilarious idea, but it doesn’t make sense.
