　　✒︎ Nope! My boy is clueless 😭 He's been so sheltered, and Richter has never really had any reason to bring it up. If he hears people ever mention Richter's son, he just assumes they mean him. And likewise, Daisuke doesn't know a thing about Ryuuto (tbf, barely anyone outside Cordelia and the DiaBoy's know though)ー

　　✒︎ A lil backstory first: Richter and his wife were estranged by the time of the Odessa insistent, and had been for some time. His relationship with this woman was pre-Cordelia's death but post-Ryuuto's, around the time of his birth; Richter - in order to "cover his tracks" with Cordelia (and to try and throw off any scent of a scandal by fathering a child with his sister-in-law behind the Vampire King's back) - married a noble Vampire woman. Despite his reluctance with the marriage, they had a child together. Soon, however, Richter abandoned this new family, his commitment to Cordelia overshadowing this superficial marriage. He had not kept in contact with them, outside of being acknowledged of Daisuke's birth, however records from the Makai still consider this his "official" family legally.

　　✒︎ So! Do they simultaneously think the other is dead? Half and half - Richter is left without a shadow of a doubt that Daisuke died back when Odessa destroyed this family. Daisuke, however, not only does not know of his father's fate, but does not really know his father. He could pick him out in a room, sure, because he was raised as a prince and his mother often talked of him - and he knows his uncle is Karlheinz - but they do not have any father-son relationship at all.

　　As both a Vampire and a Vampire Hunter, Daisuke has been Komori Seiji's apprentice at the Church ever since he was gravely injured by him. He is the son of Sakamaki Richter and his estranged wife, who were thought to have been murdered by Odessa, and thus he is the half-brother of Sakamaki Ryuuto. Daisuke is, additionally, unofficially a priest at the Church.

　　 Within the Church, only Seiji knows of Daisuke's Vampirism, with the former taking him under his wing as his apprentice after being hunted by him in Germany. Although Daisuke remains weakened, and ill, from the poison used to capture him, Seiji keeps him alive for the purpose of his pureblood heritage providing knowledge of other Vampires, and of Karlheinz. The poison used was alike the potent toxins Richter used on Ayato, following his initial refusal to abdicate; His poisoned and dying veins are similarly discoloured, kept at bay by medicine administered by Seiji. His hands, however, are the most noticeably poisoned part of him, which he conceals with gloves.

　　 Daisuke is a methodical, and routine-loving, young man who keeps to himself more often than not. Despite being thankful for the mercy showed by Seiji, his gratitude has its bounds; He remains distrusting, with his death almost certainly assured when his usefulness runs dry. He, however, remains loyal to him, festering a deep desire for vengeance for his mother against Odessa, and all those involved with the destruction of his family.

　　✒︎ He briefly fled from Germany to Russia following Odessa's destruction of his family, before returning a few years later after being chased out by Vampire Hunters.

　　✒︎ He is fluent in Japanese, German, and Russian.

　　✒︎ He was born on the December 24.

　　✒︎ He shares a name with Saint Denis, the first bishop of Paris, who was martyred by decapitation, after which legend says he picked up his own severed head and walked for a distance while preaching a sermon.

Laito is the third eldest son of Sakamaki Karlheinz' by birth, and fifth by tradition. As both a pureblood Vampire and part Vibora, Laito was fifth in-line for the throne before his mysterious disappearance.

Considering Karlheinz' assassination, and Richter's working down the line of his heirs, Laito's disappearance was suspiciously timed. Furthermore, none of his brother's have heard from him since their uncle's ascension to the throne. Despite this, Richter has ordered Ryuuto, alongside Reiji, to use what resources they have available to keep a constant search through the Makai - and human cities neighbouring Kaminashi City - in search of his whereabouts.

Little to anyones knowledge, Laito has immersed himself as one of the King's personal guardsmen, keeping his real identity a secret for his own safety. In doing so, Laito retains the upper-hand, with near-unrestricted access to Richter, Aurora, and - in turn - Ryuuto. Whether he plans to use this to his personal advantage, and for his own political or murderous gain, remains uncertain.

Laito also - albeit rarely - finds amusement in doubling as a priest for the same Church his late father was in contact with. These various alternative identities provide many a means of escape from his uncle, and half-sibling; Should one cover be blown, he has another to fall back upon.

With confirmation of Cordelia's heart beating inside of Aurora, Kanato had secretly planned to kill her once again, without aid from his brothers. His plan, however, was interrupted with Karlheinz' death and Richter confronting him regarding the throne; Willing to let such power slide for the sake of his plans remaining unknown, and considering how badly injured Ayato wound up, Kanato put up little fight and quickly abdicated.

He spends much of his days locked away, isolating himself further from his brothers. Dedicating all of his time and attention to Cordelia's permanent demise, his powers grow stronger each day. Teddy now serves not only as a personal companion, but also as a conduit for Karlheinz's spirit; Channelling his physically-deceased father through Teddy, Kanato has grown surprisingly close to his now trapped soul, keeping him safe, and very much alive, inside his childhood toy.

The fifth eldest of Sakamaki Karlheinz' sons by birth, third by tradition, Ayato is both a pureblood Vampire and part Vibora, on his maternal side. He was to succeed Reiji as third heir to the throne.

Second son to be born of Sakamaki Cordelia, Ayato has only had limited contact with Aurora for the purpose of feeding. Since confirmation of her use as vessel for his mother, originally, he has avoided any further contact where possible, for his own sake. Despite this, Ayato has found himself continuously in deep conflict with his uncle, the newly-crowned King, threatening his life and his possession of the throne.

Ayato was reluctant of his passing-up of the crown initally, despite having little care for politics, yet was left with little choice at the sharpened end of a poisoned blade; The vampiric power obtained by Richter upon his murdering of Karlheinz saw Ayato near death when defending his birth-right to the crown. To keep his head, Ayato abdicated. He had been severely wounded by deep cuts, and toxins the coated Richter's blade debilitated the young man greatly. He still hasn't fully recovered, with poisoned and dying veins discolouring much of his body.

Keeping much of his weakness a secret, Ayato often pushes himself to engage with school and homelife as per usual, leaving his brother's in the dark about his current condition. He, however, is counting on regaining his strength to, eventually, take down Richter in a rematch, and retake the throne.

　　Kamikumo Gawain is a pureblooded Adler, and its Clan King, having had a unstable reign totalling just under a quarter of his lifespan. Currently husband to Neala, the Adler Clan Queen, he had taken a previous wife before her, although has yet to bare any heirs despite their shared desperation.

　　Gawain is the youngest of the three Adler Princes, and with his older brothers both abdicating from royal duties, the heavy weight of the Clan has befallen him. This, alongside growing class-tensions within the Clan, has led to his aforementioned desperation for an heir. With the reign for an Adler Monarch averaging at just over a century, Gawain is under immense pressure to continue his lineage.

　　He is, typically, a straight-faced, no-nonsense man who is prone to being, admittedly, rather vain. Unlike many of his Clan, Gawain's loyalties have wavered; Tradition holds that the Adler leader should maintain strict monogamy, although with the thinning gene pool of Adler royals and his lack of success regarding an heir, Gawain has proposed the idea of a third wife to his court.

　　An official statement regarding such is yet to be given.

　　In his private moments, he reveals himself to be an old soul with a fascination for stamp collecting and black coffee.
