I love that there’s an ending to New Vegas where you and Benny are just kinda together? (Not that I would ever…)

You meet up with him, you hey-hey, you don’t kill him. He runs off, leaving that creepy love note. You gain custody of his robo-child. Then you meet up at the Fort and you could make fun of him and be mean, but you could also just like… tell him you had a good time? And he appreciates it? And then if you free him and he survives the game I guess that means you’re dating now.

yeah! and like, for maccready...cool reference bro does it. does it even mean anything. what about maccready's situation says "The Thing".

here, bethesda, lemme fix it for you: in my rewrite, the super mutants are an actual functional third group in the capital wasteland, with little lamplight being under their protection. now maccready can hang out with body horror mutants who are just chilling. like the famous dog/human hybrids, the centaurs. ta-da.

ultimately inconsequential but big pet peeve of mine when it comes to bethesda fallouts: naming. so many npcs don't have names, or don't have first & last names. every human companion in fnv has a first and last name. a lot of minor characters have first and last names! and a lot of characters have fun names that tell you something about them - ranger ghost, arcade gannon, calamity, fantastic, most of the legion guys tbh. meanwhile you can sleep with cait and danse without ever learning their last/first names.
