Mash freeway cloud Los Angels - collage © 2012 Annalisa Casini Image Source © 2011 Google Street View  and © 2012 Google, Map data © 2012 Google Los Angeles is a city with an extraordinary variety of places, for the light and the clouds, and its long freeway, wandering aimlessly for the industrial area, I launched peg-man at random, and a stroke of luck I saw this yellow school bus ... WOW!! I am fascinated by the Americans bus, I took inspiration of the moment, by using as texture clouds.

For city of New York  I realized nr. 14 collages, each time its setting has been a source of renewed inspiration for its mix of overwhelming chaos of people, forests of skyscrapers, bridges and yellow taxis, unique in its kind.

Here I have selected no. 3 collage on the theme of the chapter, to make you breathe smog and vivacity of this wonderful city.

SINGLE DESCRIPTION ABOUT COLLAGE URBAN SPRAWL

Each collage I made an in-depth study of specialized texts of American urban architecture, and the great American photographers of the 50's and 70's, the latter were my points of reference at the beginning to try and evocative images, and it was a surprise find the rate of change of certain urban areas of the 70's to the present, with the exception of PIER 17 NEW YORK, which has undergone a few changes so that it is recognizable in a painting by Stuart Davis, so I made this collage in tribute to this artist . -------------------------------------------------------------------

I was looking for the Creole neighborhood of Miami, but did not know the precise area, I position the district so approsimativo, and go down with peg-man on this Boulevard, ... WOW! I fall in love at once the palace green discharge that many prospects, I love this colorful flair of this road, which are enough to inspire and create risky prospects on the right side with the American flag, the M magic burgher and the white lines in the road, i place finish for the Road Closed sign in the foreground, I find visually stimulating placards with slogans. NOTES Here I find that the stripes and the white arrows on the bottom are great for road fill spaces, or for open or create an interest, and this will be a very creative and exciting reason below. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

This bridge I saw it on a music video, I liked the challenge of composition that a bridge could stimulate my creativity, but when I went down on street wiev with my friend 'peg-man', was not very interesting I stood going, when I was entangled in a web of coordinated road which repeated the name of the deck in any direction, very interesting. So I did the two bridges converge in one point, placed a red Stop sign and I created a visual window on the right with a taxi coming in, but it is a visual game because it is a picture taken from the bridge on the left inside.

New York is a town with a  particularly energy, I seemed to breathe smog and the chaotic hustle and bustle of people, skyscrapers and yellow cabs. When I saw the billboard of the lion on the yellow background was love at first sight, I opened the view of skyscrapers and I exaggerated the right side with the succession of billboards hectic as New York traffic. -----------------------

Streep IN PROGRESS NY, New York, U.S.A. - collage © 2011 Annalisa Casini - Image Surce © 2011 Google, Street View This collage unlike others it took me 1 weeks, thanks to the special from the signs of the cross vivid, making the difficult choice of what to see in this concrete forest, the study of composition has been on the search for leaks and visual horizontal geometric lines of the road, vertical skyscrapers, a triangle of concrete truck door, golf full of yellow taxis, and the white lettering of the road surface and to finish a blur right to solicit imagination. ----------------------

Fantastic street view of snow-capped Chile and Russia madewith hikers on skis and a backpack particular called the Trekker with 15 lenses each pointing in different positions and when combined they form an overview to 360 degrees. 

An adventure of a stylistic scenery all white, never faced before.

Chile in particular the contrast of the red earth and the low colour tone of snow and the light is not bright, are a good start then my attention stopped on the red cord, similar to section pen marker, from where I started to build the collage I quickly put the 3 people in the center of the white snowy peaks of Russia, to create a visual interest to light.  

A stylistic composition, color and rhythms of texure of objects and snow. WOW!

NEW STUDY 2014 ON COMPOSITION OF

VENICE is not AMSTERDAM 

I used the title of my first collage of Venice that reflects my new compositional current research studies,because it is a reality manipulated by google maps before and then reassembled by me according to my view of reality crerativo filter.

Venice is the only place I know very well and so I can not invent new places no matter how trivial, the collages are born only to be surprised to discover a new place never seen before. 

Venice canals mapped on google map with a boat, it was found an unexplored world, sure I got on a vaporetto ( tipical boat's venetian) but in reality it's all fast with google maps on the slippery surface of the water, I achieved the same effect as no wonder that the tourist sees VENICE for the first time for the collage and I like the first time I started these new studies compositional.

It been a challenge because this collage in October were not yet available images from street view, but only from the city of Venice.

I thought I would take the views of the canals in Amsterdam, I have heard that it is like Venice,

but disappointment is that I came down with the 'peg-man' and 'true that the districts are divided by the channels with water, but a grid perfect with rows of trees with foliage green pea and an exaggerated amount of bicycles, bike, bikes, 

So, Venice is not Amsterdam!!

I liked the sections indicated the line way's ferry like the reflections of the waves, the ferries, ships and ferries in Venice because there are so many bicycles in Amsterdam.

I found out that Brazil has a long history of Baroque architecture, colors and lights I felt the feeling with the landscape in the Rialto area for the collage Mash SOSPIRI RIALTO, I used the fabric to a bag for sale at rialto like heaven, I'd add the church blue candy and open the view of the stairs with a mash up of visitors,  high water or pavement surfacing?

After doing nr. 50 collage around U.S.A. on every possible topic, I wanted to go further intent was to create a feeling of still picture of a moving action, if you look at the first yellow line in the foreground, then the car on the freeway on the right you will have the feeling that the bus is launched at high speed trying to rein in the curve.

This collage is last in the series, I found the city of Phoenix architecture very clean, spacious as opposed to New York, I felt like I arrived early in the morning there was little traffic in while trying to make breakfast, I met a passing on the asphalt with the 'graffiti' road and a truckload of potato chips, I enjoyed creating visual vertigo, and I gave him a abstract touch the sky using a pool in Los Angeles.

After the hustle and bustle of New York, peg-man suggested to me a round of sun and beach to relax a bit '.

In Honolulu I discovered for the first time the view from the satellite, I liked the building with rooftop pool and images of Street View it was a new challenge compositional exasperated and dreamy, I got to lead the boulevard with palm trees and walked on the pier into the sea and sky all one with the surfers riding the clouds.
