Rosemary was a teenager when it happened. She still blames herself. Her parents were arguing with her about the boyfriend she had been with. The girl was young and stupid and got angry when her parents said they would never last. They had been on vacation in their cabin near the woods. Rosemary ran off into the dark. She kept running until she tripped on a tree root and fell to the ground and screamed. Her ankle had been broken, so the scream was natural, but she never regretted anything more. It wasn't long before a giant hybrid had approached her. Another scream echoed through the forest, and tears stained her cheeks as she looked up at the hateful red eyes looking down at her. The bite tore through the flesh and muscle of her right shoulder easily, but somehow the only thing she felt was the warmth that spilled down her arm and against her neck. A calmness came over her and she fell down, everything going black.

She awoke the next morning and stretched, thinking everything from the night before was simply a dream. Running hands through her long dark hair, she suddenly felt a sticky substance on her hands. They were soaked in blood, and everything came rushing back to her. Around her, she saw limbs, torn to shreds and blood splattered around the cabin. Yes, she had been in the cabin, and she had been angry. And her ankle... The girl felt her ankle and found it didn't hurt. Now she looked at the ground, and took in the scene. It was her parents. They had been mauled by some wild animal, and she felt tears try to escape her eyes. It was then she remembered the hybrid, and stories she had been told about people that turned to wolves during the full moon. Running to the bathroom mirror, she tore off her shirt and saw a slight scar in the shape of a bite mark on her shoulder. One final scream, and that's the loudest she would ever be again.

Xavier: -puts champagne glasses and snacks on coffee table-
