I literally cease to exist on all social platforms, and kind of enjoy that to a certain degree, but I feel the need to put this out here: this half exists in California, partially because the legislature is probably a bitch to pass, and what happened instead was landlords can refuse to provide rent if you don't make three times what they want. Meaning no one in low income can make rent. Hardly ever. Just set a higher minimum wage and price ceiling for rent based on wage for the state. Less laws you have to pass, easier to lobby for change.
