Svend Joscelyne, the international publishing manager for IGN, got caught in a lie about KOEI TECMO “distancing themselves” from PlayAsia for tweets that called the SJW furor surrounding Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 “nonsense”.

Having been proven wrong on a “semantic technicality”, Svend immediately fell back on the favorite textbook tactic of the SJW: personal attacks. Svend announced that the new KOEI TECMO title was stupid, and anyone hoping to eventually play it only does so in the interest of “[masturbating to] Tina” (a long-appearing character conspicuously absent from this iteration—can’t expect game journalists to know about the games they shit on, right?)

Svend’s tantrum culminated in a series of tweets that extrapolate to ’[tits the game] is dumb as hell and it’s CURRENT YEAR so I’m above this, but I’m not upset about it and I’m not against it despite throwing my toys out of the pram over other people enjoying it.’

It's a mystery how people came to the conclusion that any drawn representation must be telling of what the artist is capable of doing or spreading. It's easy to attack loli/shota for example thanks to the association to child porn being terrible (it is), but people are really missing the point by a mile and even doing more damage than usual.

People tend to lash out at others when they can’t do anything about the issue, they’re easy prey.

Thinking about it, it’s a really fucking selfish thing. “OH, WE DO GOOD, WE BAN KIDDY DRAWING, WE SAVE CHILDREN” is what they think when they take down a loli piece, but honestly they didn’t do jack shit to prevent child molestation.
