What's up gang! I remade my Vincent and Leo catified designs! Vincent's is basically identical to the old one, he just needed an art update. Leo's is slightly different: I kept the same sort of colour values, I just made him a black cat instead to differentiate them a bit!

Anyways design notes!:

Leo's ear is still missing because of the confrontation with Harvey! After Gary was killed, Leo challenged Harvey, but lost the battle in one strike. He passes out before Vincent arrives on the scene.

The scars on Vincent's neck now have a backstory! When Leo and Vincent go to confront Harvey together, Harvey pins Vincent down by standing on him and digging his claws in.

Leo has his buttons back! I have no idea why I gave him a zip originally, LOL.

Vincent's eyes are only golden to make him look different to Leo! Also I just like it, it goes well with his fur :)

I do still like some of the other designs I did, and there's some I never uploaded! I don't know if I'm coming back permanently but I had some animation ideas, so see how we go!

warning for discord users

If you're on the app, immediately go to your dms and then "add friends". After the latest update they allow your contacts to find you and have that option turned on by default, so make sure it's unchecked!

This is very obviously not great for a multitude of reasons, but especially for people in vulnerable positions who do not want people in their contacts to see who they are on discord and/or know they have discord in the first place. I've also tried finding out if this is a thing on desktop but haven't been able to find any mention of it, so either it's not a "feature" (yet) or they've hidden it. Either way, stay safe, and turn off finding friends via contacts!

Emily [No surname again?? Seriously guys get on it] and Gary Moretti for ya!!!

There’s literally only 4 characters left for me to design already, this game’s universe really is small lol.

Fanon Stuff:

-Emily really likes scarves, hence the reason she is wearing 4 in this image. She likes the way they flap around in the wind. She also loves flying her plane. 

-She hates Mexico as her face floof is really long, as such it makes her uncomfortably warm. 

-She was childhood friends with Vincent, and they bonded over wanting to be cops. They’ve always had each others backs, Vincent getting intel for Emily in exchange for favours with the plane. He used to take Carol on holidays before they drifted apart. Emily really liked Carol and was disappointed in Vincent when they divorced. 

-Their friendship is strained by Vincent’s obsession with revenge. Although she dislikes how fixated he is on it she ultimately feels sorry for him. She knew Gary  due to being Vincent’s friend. 

-Gary is probably just a more chill version of Vincent. He takes his job less seriously than he does, and liked to tease him about being uptight. When Leo teases him for the first time about it, all he can think about is Gary. It upsets him and he gets defensive.

-Gary was a huge role model to Vincent. Gary was always the confident and slightly protective older brother to him, and Vincent was clingy with him. After he died, Vincent thought he would never feel happiness again. He tried to act like him to keep his memory alive. 

-Gary is killed by a blow to his neck by Harvey in this AU. Leo fights Harvey, but his ear is torn off and he passes out just before Vincent arrives. Gary is already dead when he gets there, and the parking lot is filled with Vincent’s wails. After that moment, he hardens his heart, and swears revenge. 

-I like to think Gary’s ghost is able to see Vincent, and is disappointed in him. He wants Vincent to move on from him, but is unable to tell him. He also wishes Vincent would tell Leo the truth about him being a cop, and thinks it is selfish he won’t. 

[I’ll add more as I plan the AU, I kinda don’t know where to take Gary’s ghost lol]

Leo was in Dreamland while he was with Vincent. The love he was feeling for Vincent was unfamiliar to him, as it burned bright, instantly, rather than gradually building like it did with Linda. 

Vincent taught him to love himself. Leo was a tourist in his dreamland as he had never been this happy before. He felt at peace when he was with Vincent. 

Then the dreamland turned out to be an illusion.

Linda Caruso, Alex Caruso, Carol Moretti and tiny Julie Moretti catified!!!!

I love Linda and Alex so much, though I really didn’t like Carol in canon for some reason, and I have no opinion on Julie obviously cause she’s a literal infant with no personality. 

Anyways Fanon time:

-Linda had part of her tail ripped off in a cruel trick played on her by some of the other cats at the orphanage. They found a bear trap in the forest and lured her into it. Leo stuck up for her, and wound up getting his ass beat. Linda got so annoyed she wrenched herself out of the trap to save Leo, ripping off her tail in the process. Since that day, they’ve always looked out for each other. I like to imagine that Linda also trained Leo in battle moves, so their fighting style is very similar. 

-Alex takes after his father more than his mother, and he inherited the big nose. He has his mother’s freckles and his fur is patterned more like hers. He also wears a golden locket originally belonging to Leo, but he gave it to Alex before he left to trade the Black Orlov. Alex wears it with pride until he finds out his father is a criminal, at which point he throws it away. Linda picks it up for him and Alex is given it back when Leo visits again, and Alex realises Leo still loves him, despite him being a criminal. 

-Carol has divorced Vincent in this AU, and Julie is already born at the start of the game. The Hospital scene in the middle of the game is replaced by a scene in which Carol and Julie are attacked by Harvey’s goons, and Vincent has to save them. Vincent and Leo fight them off together, with help from Linda and Alex. Alex is injured protecting Julie. The two become as close as siblings and Linda and Carol bond over it. 

-Julie is the only thing that unites Carol and Vincent, as she loves them both equally. She doesn’t understand why her dad is away so much, but it makes her happier when he returns.

Harvey design!!!!!

Why does this dude have no surname that’s low-key kinda weird lol.

Anyways, his design is intended to be pretty rich boy as opposed to menacing crime boss lmao. Though make no mistake, his claws are sharp [just ask Leo haha] He’s prettier than he is in game because he’s supposed to be a lure, so he tricks you with smart words and his innocent outer appearance before dragging you into the dark depths of his crime ring. His fur is very long and he keeps it well groomed to keep up appearances.
