Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and baby Maria are set to make the dangerous journey from Gaza City in the north to Rafah in the south. From there, God willing, they will enter Egypt.

HOWEVER, the money they had allocated to procure shelter and food while in Egypt was utterly depleted by exploitative fees and hidden costs, which we break down in this post. Moataz speaks more on the situation in this post and on his own blog @moatazart, which we ask people to follow and boost. They have a fund going to raise the remaining money, but the fund only has a week and a half left before it closes! They are not even halfway to their goal!

Please share what you can with Moataz’s family so they can find safety and security in Egypt! They have no one in Egypt with whom they can stay and currently nowhere near enough money to secure shelter! After all they have survived, please don’t let this young family be left vulnerable! If they cannot procure food and shelter, they will be extremely vulnerable not only to the dangers of homelessness, but to groups and individuals who prey on refugees!

Safety for Gazan refugees does not end with leaving Gaza! If this campaign is not finished in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS, they will be homeless in Egypt! They are so close to a fresh start, please don’t let all the risks they are taking to find safety be for nothing!

I finally got the Nomad app because I saw people could add extra Data to activated esims and got more esims.

While I was at it I saw the Nomand Esim I previously got was activated and fully used.

I wish I would've known about the adding extra data thing before. I feel like I failed someone I don't even know and I hope they got a new esims.

I don't get how people who do nothing don't feel constant guilt. I feel so much guilt right now because I realized I could've done more for someone.

Why do I as a Palestinian have to run after my so called friends and practically beg them to give a shit for just one minute.

Beg them to care about the boycott list and not just write it off with "it's a long list I know I probably buy some of that stuff but I can't remember all of it anyways"

Beg them to speak out just once instead of living their life like nothing is happening. No I don't care about upcoming conventions and I can't stomach listening to it while scrolling through my phone and watching a genocide happen.

eSims for Gaza is facing constant eSim shortages.

They get over a thousand requests for connection a day, but their email inbox is regularly sitting at 300-500 eSims. With the bombardment of Rafah and continual internet blackouts, the need for more eSims is particularly urgent.

Even if you have already sent an eSim or donated to an eSim donation drive, there is more you can do. The team is calling for people to campaign in their communities to help spread the word about eSims and encourage donations.

You can help by printing out posters and putting them up in local businesses, on telephone poles and notice boards, or wherever people are likely to see them.

UPDATE: COLORING BOOKS!

These past few days, Hussam has been putting together 350 coloring books and colors for the children of the camps to both to help bring a bit of joy to their lives as well as encourage education and learning in the midst of not being able to go to school. Thank you so much everyone for all your help these past few weeks, because of you, we're able to put a smile on these children's faces!
