Ouma had felt quite pleased with her reaction, the look on her face was priceless. He kept a smirk on his face, it was fairly clear that he was enjoying this, to an extent.
He waited, she seemed to be waiting to say something, or at least gathering her thoughts to. Ouma only imagined it would be some childish retort like she’d usually do after he’d insulted her.
“W-What?” his voice started to tremble, loud screaming and crying began to come from the boy. Tears flowing from his eyes and snot flying from his nose. It seemed a little excessive, but that was the point. “You’re such a bully, Yumeno-chan!”
Tumblr media
Himiko, of course, believed the overreaction. The insult she had thrown at the boy had been immensely hurtful in her mind. She smiled in victory and threw her hands on her hips, giggling like a maniac.
“That’s right Kokichi!” Her eyes sparkled and she looked at him, seeming to stare into his soul. “I will not be put down by your... nuhhh... EVILNESS!” she continued to laugh, pointing an index finger towards Kokichi to emphasize her point.

“Wow! Himiko is actually levitating!” Tenko exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with admiration. “Tenko knew that you could do it!”
As it happened, Tenko looked down and noticed something. “Himiko, are you running out of MP? Because your feet seem to be touching the ground!” Only Tenko would say this so sincerely. Sh really believed Himiko had no MP, and was worried about the mage.
Tumblr media
Himiko’s face flushed in embarrassment at Tenko’s comment. She too looked down and seemed upset. If the trick had went went right, then it would seem as if the girl’s feet left the ground. But, alas, Himiko’s feet were still on the ground. She frowned.
“Nyeh... I guess so.” She sighed, and dropped her arms to her side in defeat. “Maybe I just need to relax...”

❛     of course i can feel emotions just like humans can !    all robots are capable of feeling and comprehending emotions !    and saying we’re not is just a bad stereotype made by the media !    ❜     EVEN    THOUGH    WHAT    HE    WAS    TRUE,   /   there was a slight lie in there somewhere.    though,    since kiibo is    ╾╾    well,    himself.    ╾╾    he felt obligated to clarify a few things.     ❛     however,    i’m not capable of understanding every emotion known to mankind.    not yet,    at least.    i’m still gathering data on the more    …   complex ones.   regardless,    that doesn’t make me any less of a person than you are.     ❜
Tumblr media
Himiko just shrugged. She was still quite confused as to why Kiibo was getting so bent out of shape over her comment. And what did he mean by complex emotions?
“I guess... but I’m pretty sure you have to be, y’know, human to be a person... Neh, Maybe you can use RoboGoogle to pull up a definition?” She tapped on Kiibo’s metal chest to emphasize her point.

For better or worse, Himiko’s lack of conversation skilll didn’t stop Tenko from hanging onto every last word. “That’s amazing! Himiko’s spells always cheer Tenko up no matter the situation! That’s what makes Himiko the Ultimate Mage.” Indeed, Himiko’s acts of wonderment were something that Tenko greatly admired.
Unfortunately for Himiko, that also meant Tenko wanted to see this new spell as soon as possible. “So what kind of spell are you working on right now? Levitation? Making fireworks appear? Oh, maybe making someone disappear!”
Himiko tapped her chin, deciding whether she should go with Tenko’s suggestions or not. Considering she didn’t think of what to say next, she decided to just go along with one of them.
Tumblr media
“Nyeh? Oh, yeah... I’m working on levitation magic right now. I... have the general idea of it going but it’s not very good yet...” With that, she stood up from the table and stood so that Tenko could only see a side shot of her body. She spoke a few words, or rather, gibberish, before pulling off an amazing act of levitation. Well, what looked like levitation at least.

Ouma made a mocking laugh at Himiko’s poor attempt to hiss like a cat, only to sound like a dying goose.
“You can’t even use magic on me right now, so I can do whateeever I want!” He threw his arms in the arm in a monster-like way, making a childish impression of one, he definitely wasn’t taking any of this seriously.
“You’re way uglier than I am, Yumeno-chan, you’re the dumbie!” he continued to tease the magician. Ouma wasn’t really fazed by being called ugly.
Tumblr media
Himiko’s face practically said it all: she was rather upset. Her retaliation to Kokichi’s comment was smacked right back into her face. With a huff, she pulled her hat down and frowned.
“No... that’s not true...” Her voice wavered slightly, but she still managed to get it out in one piece. Then, there was a hesitation- a moment for Himiko to gather her thoughts and come up with a response.
Tumblr media
“I-in fact, you’re like... infinitely more ugly than me! Because you’re...nyeh... stupid!” That was SURE to hit him hard! She fumbled with the rim of her mage hat.

Ouma watched the rabbit make a rather fierce snarl as the cage had shut. He definitely didn’t wake up on the right side of the bed. He stared back at Himiko as she had intensely.
“Hmm? I thought beauty sleep would be impossible for an ugly girl.” He said in a mocking tone, chuckling with a smirk on face. He didn’t know how this magic worked in the magician’s world, and it didn’t seem interesting enough to try and find out whatever she was spewing.
Tumblr media
Himiko looked rather upset with the boy’s comment, not taking it as a joke. She made a noise that was the equivalent to a cats’ hiss. Or, rather, tried to. But, it came out more like a dying gooses’ quack if anything.
“Shut up, you dumbie! It’s magic! Magic is a subject you shouldn’t take lightly!” She huffed. “and besides, y-you’re uglier than I am!” Himiko threw her hands on her hips, rather proud of herself for “standing up” against the boy.

Himiko looked up to see Tenko’s blushy, red face, and she had to admit, it was kind of cute, and she felt slighty upset when the girl took her hand back. She hummed a bit, in thought. Tenko’s question had gotten her to think about her magic. Honestly, she hadn’t practiced in quite a while, considering the stress of the killing game and all. That being said, she didn’t have any new spells up her sleeve. However, to keep the conversation alive, she decided to make one up on the spot.
Tumblr media
“Nyeh? Oh, yes I did...” She hesitantly smiled. She wasn’t a very good liar, or conversationalist, and it was clearly evident.

Himiko’s eyes sparkled at the mention of boba tea. It was a fact that she adored the tea with every fiber of her being. Even the mere thought of the sweetness seemed to make her giddy. But, of course, her face barely showed any of that happiness.
“Nyeh? …Yes please.” She spoke, plainly. She looked back down at her hand, still interlocked with Tenko’s. It made her quite happy, knowing that there was someone beside her who willingly came into contact with her.

Ouma looked at Himiko, he could tell she wasn’t the biggest fan of Mr. Rabbit either. He was about getting bored with pretending to be a complete scaredy cat as well. At least they had some fun with it for awhile.
“Alright, here ya go.” He said, handing off the rabbit back to Himiko. Despite its ugliness, Ouma didn’t actually hate him that much.
“How do you regenerate ‘mana’ anyways?” He asked, wondering what she’d come up with. In all honesty, sometimes he couldn’t fathom what made Himiko think of things like being a mage and real magic
Tumblr media
Himiko stared Kokichi down intensely as she placed the rabbit back in his cage. The rabbit gave a fierce sounding snarl as the cage snapped shut. She made an effort to lock the cage and hide it far away from her current position. It was safe to say Mr. Rabbit was not in a good mood.
“Heh...you really are a dumbie Kokichi. A mage just needs proper beauty sleep to regenerate her mana! Mana regeneration is magic in itself. It’s magic, Kokichi!” She practically snorted. How could a person be so dumb? The only way to make magic was with more magic!

NOW    THAT    WAS    BLATANT   ROBOPHOBIA !   /   &&.  considering how he only helped cheered her up minutes prior made the impact ten times harder.   so much for being kind.     ❛     th - that’s not true at all !    i’m perfectly capable of understanding human activities and the way humans think,    thank you very much !     ❜     his retort is accompanied by erratic hand gestures,    clearly displeased with her accusation.     ❛     i’m capable of learning new things just like you are,    but if you don’t want to teach me then you could’ve said so instead of making such a robophobic assumption !    ❜
Tumblr media
A slightly confused expression crossed Himiko’s face. It was fact that he was a robot... and robots were clearly NOT human. So why was Kiibo so upset? She sighed, a verbal cue of her mental exhaustion.
Tumblr media
“No, I like having you teach me. You must be full of knowlege because of you... Like... your uhhh...nyeh...” She put a finger to her chin, striving for the right word. “Ahhhh... database.” She pondered a bit before speaking again.
“Oh right... I guess you could feel human emotions... considering you have the data on it.” Himiko simply smiled like she had solved a world epidemic.

He gave a small nod as that answer was expected from her. As a magician– no, mage, what else could she do but perform magic? Speaking of which, he was never shown any of her magic during the time they spent together so far.
“I see. So, I take it you’ll be performing with your master, right?” He closed his eyes, the smile on his lips widening. He imagined she was going to have a blast with him once all of this is over. “Ah, that reminds me… you haven’t shown me your magic yet.”
Tumblr media
“Nyehhh...yeah... my masters the best.” She smiled weakly. “I want to be as powerful as him one day....” Her master was such a powerful mage, and she was lucky to be training as his underling. Though, he was so underrated. She wished that her master got more credit for his work.
Himiko sighed. “Shuichi, I would be happy to show you but...” Her voice trailed off, and was soon cut off by a yawn. “...My mana is low.” She shrugged, eyes drooping even though she’d had a good nights rest.
