Ultimate Watersports - Jet Ski flyboard, tours, sup, kayak

As an extreme sport enthusiast with a particular love for virtually all water sports (Surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, sailing and paddling), I think my attraction to water sports comes from a slightly different angle than most. I think it goes without saying that people are attracted to water sports because they're fun and are usually a logical activity on a hot summers day etc. But for me, the real attraction lies in the fact that water isn't a natural environment for us humans.

By this I mean, we aren't naturally geared to survive in water. We can't breathe under water without the aid of technology and we can't stay in water indefinitely without some form of thermal protection and buoyancy aid etc. So for me, water sports add an entirely new dimension to the activity. Not only am I challenging myself and my skills in a particular sport, but I'm also fighting the elements for survival, which in many of the sports I'm passionate about can often be very unhospitable.

We surf big waves, we kitesurf in strong winds (and big waves), we scuba dive to great depths, sailors take on unpredictable ocean conditions that can get pretty severe... all of which pushes us to our limits (and sometimes beyond). "It's me against the incredible powers of Mother Nature and all she can throw at me." Surviving a session like this leaves me with a very unique feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment... having survived against the elements.

Most people probably can't relate to this, but anyone engaged in kiteboarding or surfing will know exactly what I'm talking about... it's one of the best feelings in the world! ;-)
