Oh my gosh you’re writing a book!! That’s so exciting ahhh what’s it about?😊

Quick explanation: The genre is High Fantasy with shadow/death magic and dragons.

The book revolves around four main characters from three different nations that have been at war their entire lives who must now work to defeat a common enemy who has the power to wipe them all out.

Quick Blurb:

A hero or villain isn’t defined by their actions or sacrificed they make. The hero is the one who survives to tell their story while the villains are silenced through death.

A dragon and a wolf bound to a faceless God.

A mind weaving rebel bound to protect the people his King and Queen had long forgotten.

A dragon prince bound to a nation built on fire.

In the end when the heroes wipe out all of their villains will they have the guts to look in the mirror and call themselves a hero, or will they take of their masks and realize what monsters they have truly become?

Summary: Story inspired by the movie She’s the Man. A female Duff is tired of dealing with the bullshit of trying to make it on the strip as a female bassist. In a desperate attempt to make it big doing what she does, she cuts her hair and mascardes as Duff. What’s the wors that could happen?

Excerpt from Chapter 1:

The token female of a rock band, that’s all I was ever known as. To say it was hard to make it as a female rocker was an understatement. It don’t know which was harder, getting taken seriously or finding a band that wants you for your ability to play (not your ability to fuck them). Don’t get me wrong, not all the guys on the strip were pieces of shit. There were SOME good guys, but sadly the bad outweighed the good ten to one. Whenever I played with guys I was under a microscope. If I ever made the smallest mistake I would get grilled or even get kicked out of the band which was a huge contrast to when someone else in the band made a mistake. They would just shrug it off. It was bullshit.

You’re probably thinking, hey Michelle why don’t you join an all girl band? I did. I tried, but either the group was only there to fuck groupies or we fought constantly. It was almost worse than the other groups I had been apart of.

It all came from a stupid comment that one of my closest friend’s Walter said, “you’d have better luck passing off as a guy and making it than you would making it as a girl.”

Sorry for my absence! I’m doing good, tired, but good!

As some of you may have noticed I am far less active on this blog than I used to be. This is actually because a few months (8 or so) back I decided to follow a dream of mine and pursue becoming a published writer (in my free time, after my full time job). Something I would have never had the guts to do if it wasn’t for y’all’s comments and love for my fanfics. Saying it means the world to me isn’t enough ☺️ Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I recently finished the first draft of my manuscript (it's a little over 460 pages, but I might shrink it down, it all depends on the next few drafts) and I'm 1/3 of the way through editing my second draft.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank y’all for the constant support over the past year for my writing. As I mentioned earlier, I wouldn't have had the guts if it wasn't for you all.

I recently left my old job and am starting a new one next week. I’m super excited and nervous, but that is just because I don’t like change.

The main reason I haven’t been very active because I am actually writing a book. I am about about to finish my first draft (only 2 chapters left) and I hit 120K words last week and I am currently targeting 130K
