idea for a Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough where i roleplay as my pet bearded dragon.

dragonborn wildheart barbarian obviously.

ultimate INT dump stat build. rest of stats are poorly optimized despite this

typical morality-based decision-making is eschewed entirely in favour of desire for food, immediate self-preservation, and loyalty to characters who feed and protect me (in that order).

for extra peabrain immersion, the game's subtitles & dialogue track can be turned off (NOTE: unsure if it's actually possible to do this but if not i can just blast oingo boingo over the entire game audio)

the SHIT clause (Superfluous Hoarding Is Temporary). if my inventory is full i must drop everything i am carrying that isn't food or healing

all the companion characters can be played normally but they're not allowed to get in the way of my Epic Quest To Explore In Places I Probably Shouldn't Go.

#sometimes i feel bad about killing people in baldurs gate 3 but #then i'll see them spend 20 turns shouting up to me from below a cliff instead of doing literally anything else #and it's like oh yeah. it's game #sorry i made you an accessory to murder though Gale. my bad

basically, i think the general rule of thumb is: if someone REALLY wants the blood that’s inside of your body, and they’re like… a vampire, or a dracula, or some sort of mansquito, then that’s probably okay. a dracula and a mansquito are made for removing things like blood and swords from inside your body. that’s basically fine.

if something wants to get at your blood, and they’re, say, some kind of murdersaurus, or maybe a really big frog, that’s where the problems start to arise. a really frog is not made for removing blood, and your blood knows this, which is why it is so vehement about wanting to stay IN your body instead of coming out. 

unfortunately this will not deter a really big frog, because a really big frog is full of things like prizes, and value, and quite a lot of hatred, and it would REALLY rather like to replace any and all of those things with your blood, and basically by any means possible.
