We all know how it goes
The more it hurts, the less it shows
But I still feel like they all know
And that’s why I could never go back home

I trust in him. I trust in his ever-living flesh.
I trust in his blood. I feel it flow from my lips into the empty pit in my stomach.
I trust him to fill me.
I trust in HIM.

Happy Indigenous People’s Day 🖤🪶🧡
I’ve been reconnecting to my Indigenous culture the last few years and I am so happy to feel as though I finally found where I belong and feel a sense of wholeness and closeness to my roots and existence in its entirety. So this year, for Indigenous People’s Day I wanted to compile lists for everyone to use and share. Please, support Indigenous People’s Day by boosting Indigenous Voices.
Here are some ways you can celebrate Indigenous People’s Day (For us Natives & our allies)
🪶 Stream Indigenous artists' music, here are a few good playlists I’ve made for this purpose:
Metal:

Decolonization:

🪶 Support Native owned businesses, here’s a list of links to purchase from Native creators:

🪶 Read books by Indigenous authors, some of my favorites: Richard Wagamese, Sherman Alexie, Eric Gansworth, Cynthia Leitich Smith, Erika T. Wurth.
