Disabled trans girl in need of some short term $ help

I lost my job on March 1st and have yet to get something new, but my former employer just got me disqualified from unemployment benefits. I need to make like $850 by may 6th to cover my portion of rent, I'm gonna be attempting to donate plasma this weekend and next weekend but it won't be enough in time, it'll just make the goal easier to reach.

i cant speak for everything but i think you're being delusional, most queer people are not pedophiles, youre probably referring to ageplay (adults pretending to act in ways that can't tangibly harm children), most queer people are not zoophiles, you're probably referring to furrys or therians etc (adults pretending to act in ways that can't tangibly harm animals), most queer people are not even doing incest with their familial siblings, they are doing fauxcest (adults pretending to act in ways outside the sanctity of your nuclear family ideals).

if you see art that depicts animal/furry sex or incest or rape, you have to understand that this is not tangibly harming anymore, depictions of underage characters or adults pretending to be children is not cp and to say something like this is offensive to actual csa survivors. i say all this because what you're saying sounds extremely reactionary and based on a facist narrative. like no, most queer people are not grooming children or fucking dogs, youre regurgitating bullshit.

i dont have time to explain the more complex grey areas of the world we live in, becsuse its not as simple as "this notion is good and that notion is bad" but you need to first off understand, that your disgust does not equate to harm, if you are uncomfortable with something, it is not the fault of other people to conform to how you think they should behave. harm in this context is when someone who doesnt want to be engaging with something is being forced or coerced into it. consider asking people if they are being harmed instead of projecting your own expectations onto them.

Trans women are intentionally misgendered, threatened and called pedophiles, and are the targets of callout/vague posts every single week in here. It's not "just staff and terfs"

Since February 19th: Tumblr's CEO, photomatt, made a statement about predstrogen's (unfair) termination, misgendering her and threatening to call the FBI on her (archived screenshots). Then, on February 20th: he continued to harass Rita on Twitter

Following this, multiple other trans women were terminated due to their criticism of staff's and photomatt's handling of this situation, like: milf-adjacent, catgirldick, nebulaaaaaa, jammerjenny, yaoivriskaforever, 8millionsystem, trans-kitty-meow, mozzarella-firefox, rulerofpurple, gay-satan-3, catgirlpunishedshaft

On February 21st: dykemacabre accused Kara (a member of Cohost's staff) of being a pedophillic furry and a lolicon, blaming her for allowing "cub porn" on the platform, which was a lie; the site doesn't allow that, and the post was quickly proven to be intentionally misleading. After being caught, dykemacabre apologized for part of the post, but doubled down, later deactivating

On February 27th: ardourie (formerly known as neotrances, well-known transmisogynist) began harassing enemy-viv over a post about Aaron Bushnell's online identity (like his username and use of pronouns on YouTube/Reddit/Discord,) which lead to people accusing Viv of "transvestigating" Aaron's online presence (while misusing that word) and spreading lies about Viv. She deactivated due to the harassment and has stated that she won't come back

On March 8th: roadhogsbigbelly (who accused txttletale [January 10th] and Gretchen Felker-Martin [February 1st] of being pedophiles) doubled down several times while arguing with different people about "not misgendering" a trans girl (after vagueing her), while misgendering her multiple times

This happens every week

Almost every single week there is a new callout, a new harassment campaign, new anons spreading rumours/misinformation, and more people comfortably vagueing and misgendering trans women

GUMROAD IS BANNING NSFW CONTENT IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, so I might as well.

They've updated their content policy to comply with payment processor Stripe and Paypal's censorhip. They gave 24 hours. On March 16th 2024, Gumroad TOS will no longer allows sales of any written or drawn nsfw content.

This is going to hurt for so many creators. Giving that little time leaves people's source of income wildly unstable, especially with such a huge overhaul of what content is allowed.

I hate this. I hate what censorship is turning the internet into. I hate that nsfw content creators keeo getting pushed to the fringes, that they need to digitally migrate so often, because nowhere can be trusted to allow their art for long.

I don't know what to do next, there isn't some sort of "here's what you can do to help!" People just deserve to know.
