TMNT Donatello X Reader: Hoodie Thief

Summary: Donatello is simultaneously in awe and unimpressed by your hoodie stealing abilities.

REQUEST: How would the brothers react to having the S/O steal their hoodies CONSTANTLY? Like, they can't take their eyes off the hoodie or them for more than five seconds or their S/O will have the hoodie on, even if the brothers were wearing it beforehand, curled up somewhere and happily warm. If asked why they keep stealing it, they simply shrug and tell them, "It's warm and smells like you. Makes me feel safe."

A/N: I need to start writing shorter fics so here we go.

Gender Neutral Reader

Warnings: it's. just. fluff.

He had first noticed the sudden decrease in his sweater cache after the tragic loss of his favorite hoodie.

It was purple, cut around Donnie's shell neatly AND had an Einstein meme on it, thus making it the holy grail of all hoodies and a sacred item in his wardrobe.

This truly was amongst one of the last situations he would have ever predicted to find himself in. But as he watched you, curled into a tight ball on the couch and seemingly drowning in that purple hoodie, he concluded that the sight warmed him more than the fabric ever could.

Thus, Donatello affectionately decided that he would let you borrow it for the night.

And that logic was all well and good- except that his clothing never came back. It was all but reclaimed by a small (in comparison to him, anyway) human that wore the hoodie as a smug trophy, pairing it with an equally as smug smirk.

Don drew the line when you stole his replacement hoodie not even five minutes after he had unwrapped the package.

"How?" The purple-clad turtle exclaimed in disbelief, throwing his hands to the sky. "How could you have stolen that and put it on during the three. Freaking. Seconds. That I looked away for?"

You stretched out lazily on the couch, preening beneath his wide, golden gaze. A slow smile twisted your lips upwards at his rare expression of sheer and utter bewilderment.

"You tell me," you drawled coyly, "you're the ninja."

Donatello opted to keep his mouth shut, thoughts venturing into dangerous waters by the sneaky smile that now graced your lips.

"Don't take it personal, Brains," you shot him a playful wink. "Nobody gets in between me and a hoodie."

Donnie's breath faltered at the sight and he swallowed hard to collect his thoughts. "Okay," he said slowly. "But why don't you take my brothers' hoodies?"

He had expected you to explain that you liked to pick on him and torture him with your antics. He hadn't expected you to look away shyly and hesitate.

Finally, with a shrug that he knew was not as nonchalant as you made it out to be, you replied. "I steal yours because they're warm."

Don paused for a nanosecond, mentally structuring his argument that they're made of the same fabric and thus would all provide the same level of warmth. However, as usual, you managed to implode his mind with a mere sentence.

"And because they smell like you."

Donatello's heart leapt into his throat as he stared at you for a long moment, rapidly forming an intelligent response. "Oh."

Intro

“Well, it’s confirmed.” Donnie pulled his goggles up onto the top of his head, his brothers looking at him, anticipation in their eyes. “We can’t contract or carry the virus.”

“We’re immune?” Leo checked.

Donnie nodded, typing rapidly into his computer. “Not only that, but we don’t have the ability to infect anybody either. Which means…”

“Yep, I’ll call her.” Raph dialed your number to deliver the good news.

“Hell yeah!!!” Mikey cheered skipping out of the lair.

Cute Raphael Things ❤

Pulling you into a kisses.

Raphael loves to kiss you. Like. A lot. When you first got together, he was rather shy about it, having very little experience with such things...but he warmed up pretty quickly lol. So don't be surprised when the turtle pulls you into his arms and kisses you, deeply and passionately. He might just refuse to let go for a long while.

He just wants to hold you.

Hold you, have you, know that you are here with him. For years, Raph wondered if he would ever fall in love. And if he did...would they love him back? Would they want to be with him? Would anyone ever want him? But you do, you want him more then anything, and that very idea has him falling, falling, falling for you. So he'll hold on tight, pressing you close to his heart.

Ranting.

Raphael is an emotional guy and he needs to rant. Luckily, you are willing to listen. When things start to get to him, Raph knows that he can storm off to you and tell you about everything. And you will listen to every word. If he needs advice, you give it to him. If you needs comfort, you pull him into your arms. But mostly? He just needs someone to say "that sucks."

Little gifts.

He can't give you the stars themselves (though he totally would) but he'll find other ways to spoil you. Raph will make you things, small paintings and knit blankets or shawls (in red, of course). He really loves seeing that you cherish the gifts too. Like having the painting propped on her dresser, where you can see it, or cuddling up with the blanket on a cold night. Raph likes to show you that he cares in quiter ways, small gifts and services being on of them. He likes to do stuff for you.

Motorcycle rides.

Raphael loves taking you out on his bike! Speeding through the city is always so exciting...but having you with him is even better. Arms wrapped around him, holding tight. Head resting against his shoulder. He'll tell you to hop on and hold on tight, his heart skipping a beat as you lean so close. And then he'll drive away to some quiet place where the two of you can just...be together.

He's always there for you.

Always. Anytime, anywhere, he'll drop anything to get to you. It doesn't matter, if you need him, he's there. Like I said, Raph likes doing stuff for you. So if you need his help or are in need of love, then he'll be at your side as quick as he can. And if you are ever in danger, you can count on the turtle teaching someone a serious lesson before rushing you off to the lair (and not letting you leave for a while).

Take out dinners.

Most date nights are simple: one of you picks the movie, the other picks dinner. He feels guilty that he can't give you anything really fancy, like candlelight dinners and all that, because he thinks that you deserve all of those things. He'll try to make up for it by being a little more loving but really...there's nothing to make up for. Old Godzilla films and Chinese takeout is perfect.

He has two types: soft and sweet or total kickass.

Either way, Raphael is going to be in absolute heaven. If you are a sweetheart that pours affection over him, he's going to eat every bit of it up. He adores the gentle love that you give him, having craved it his whole life. If you are a kickass that don't need no man but you still want him, then he's just as enamored. He loves it when you put him in his place!

Red, red, red.

It's HIS color and he absolutely loves to see you in it. Red dress, red lips, red shirts, red lingerie, red nails...just red! Wear it! It drives him absolutely wild. When he catches a glance of fire red or deep scarlet on you, it fills him with the deepest sense of pride. It feels like a claim of some kind and you'll find that he's extra affectionate when you are dressed in red.

Monster movie nights.

Raphael has a love for monster movies, especially old classics and Godzilla films. He raves over amazing films and loves to hate bad films. So of course, when he finally finds you, he wants to share all of his favorite movies with you...if you are into that thing! He tries to act like its no big deal but, secretly, it is. Raph just wants to share something with you.

Late night calls.

Sometimes, he just really needs to hear your voice. It comforts him, even if you are just talking about nothing at all. He'll call you up ask just ask you to talk. Anything. Everything. Just tell him about it. A movie you watched, that jerk manager at work, all the little things in life. Let him hear you voice and help his troubles melt away, if only for a little while.

He can be...jealous.

Really jealous. He's not some crazy boyfriend or anything like that and he doesn't blame you for it. His jealousy is more connected to his own self-confidence issues and he knows that. But deep down, he fears that you will leave him for another. Someone less angry, someone easier to be with. Leo, maybe, or a human. There will be times where he needs reassurance and times when he needs to be told to stop being a jerk, but he'll always understand.

Little touches.

His hand on your thigh, his arms around your waist, little things like that. He just loves to touch you, to feel you close to him. To know that you are there, with him. The feeling of your skin against his own rough skin is so strange and so wonderful. Sometimes he'll just pull you close and drag his fingers along your thighs or belly, tracing shapes slowly as he does.

Him stumbling into bed.

Late nights fighting crime can really tire a turtle out. There have been many times that he's stumbled home, collapsing into bed and falling right to sleep. For a long time, it was just him. Alone or occasionally with one of his brothers. But now that he has you, Raph will stumble his way towards your bed. It won't be uncommon to hear a tap, tap, tapping at your window only to open it and have Raph fall into your arms.

Protectiveness.

Raphael is the most protective out of all of the turtles. He wants to keep you safe. The idea of someone hurting you because of your connection to him is terrifying. Gut wrenching, heart breaking horror is thd only way to describe it. So he will walk you or drive you to and from places, have Donnie install a security system in your home, and will even insist on giving you self defense lessons (if you can't already fight).

Passion.

He's also the most passionate of all the too. Around the others, he might hold back a little bit. But when the two of you are finally alone...he releases the beast within. Kissing, touching, endlessly loving you. He can be rather rough, though he doesn't mean to be, and will try to be more gentle...unless you like it. Unless you ask him to. Then he'll give you just what you asked for, drowning you in his love and passion.

Secret little visits.

He's not a stranger to sneaking out and when he starts dating you, well, there's no need to wander the city aimlessly anymore (though he still might do it on the occasion). He'll go right to you, slipping through your window and pulling you into his arms. No one knows where he is. No one needs to know. And all that he needs is you, right here and right like this.

Passionate love.

Raphael is passionate, hot headed, wild, and madly in love with you. Love comes quickly and wildly, in an "Oh, fuck!" moment for the turtle.

He never thought someone would want him. After all, who would ever manage to love a beast?

But you do.

You love him.

And he adores you for it, falling deeper and deeper in love. As long as you love this turtle, he will be there for you. Protecting you and holding you, never wanting to let go.

A/N: I HAVEN’T WRITTEN IN A WHILE I’M SUPER RUSTY.  Yeehaw we got a LEO version of this fic!!! We stan a tsundere king. He’s almost got a predatory vibe to him and I’m not exactly sure where it came from but I think it’s kinda hot so here we go.
