We got to see little fingers waving to us. And even some long legs and toes. Measuring perfectly at 11w4d and had the first appt with the MFM dr. I’ll definitely be their patient but they confirmed one of the lowest “high risk” patients lol they will be getting more info from the other specialists (neuro and ENT surgeon).
Surprise! Blob has sprouted some limbs and now looks like a rotisserie chicken!
Can finally breathe a sigh of relief (but I’m sure it won’t last long) as the HR was up to 173 and it is measuring on track at 8w5d.
We now wait for a phone call for the first trimester screening. Should be in about 2 weeks, long ultrasound and bloodwork then follow up with the fertility dr for a final discharge. *bittersweet*
Will also be waiting for the referral appointment to the MFM high risk clinic.
Blob is measuring on track at 6w2d, 0.57cm, with a healthy heart rate of 130bpm.
Blob has kept us on our toes with some brown bleeding for 3 weeks but all is well, possibly a small SCH. But with it doing well, CNY has discharged us as patients which sucks cause I liked them. A lot.
Local dr is thrilled and admitted he didn’t expect this to ever happen. He has begun the referral to a high risk OB that delivers at the local high risk/children’s hospital. Between it being a highly medicated IVF pregnancy, my epilepsy, and my high ICP/CSF leak, he won’t take a chance.
I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Or something horrible to happen. Trying to think positive isn’t in my skill set. No nausea/morning sickness/normal signs of pregnancy doesn’t help since I keep thinking I’ve miscarried or something.
BUT!
I think I realized yesterday maybe why I don’t have those symptoms! CNY has suggested CBD oil for anxiety and inflammation. I’ve been taking it since October. It’s used to help nausea and vomiting in chemo patients so probably helping me with this. If so….fantastic!
