tsnsoo:
“You should start talking in a nicer tone to your elders,” He snorted in response to Jinwoo’s reaction, recurling his fingers around the strap of his bag. “Anyway, it’s not really your business, but I’m not in class because I don’t feel like it right now. I was going to the gym, so technically I’m still being productive, or whatever.”
Myungsoo maintained his abrasive exterior for a good reason – a walking cactus if there ever was one. It wasn’t as if he particularly cared to hear the younger student’s life story. Well, maybe he cared a bit. A modicum of compassion dwelled within him for his underclassmen whether he liked it or not. Although the differences in age weren’t as substantial, he saw a glimpse of his younger siblings in them. In Jinwoo’s case, he felt.more obligated to watch over him being in the same sport.
“You should join me and take out whatever was making you cry on a punching bag,” He raised his fist and firmly tapped the center of Jinwoo’s chest with it. As he began walking, he turned on balls of his feet to take a glance back at him, reaffirming whether or not he was planning on tagging along. A raise of his eyebrows and he turned around again.
Jinwoo just childishly stuck his tongue out at the male’s back as the other began heading to the gym - a place Jinwoo would normally love to ditch class for. But with his current jumbled thoughts, the male wasn’t quite sure. No words escaping his lips, shock that the other would invite him to join, an invitation almost sounding as if his voice was mildly concerned for the other. Jinwoo just dismissed that, knowing better than to assume things, especially about Myungsoo.
“I’d be nicer, if my elder didn’t simply skip class to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.” Jinwoo retorted, shifting his bag on his shoulders to adjust it into a more comfortable position before shortly following behind the other. The boxer wasn’t exactly sure what force compelled him to follow Myungsoo but he did so anyways, feet shuffling as he let a long sigh escape his lips.
Maybe it would help; punching a sandbag rather than weeping like a poor, hopeless boy in the middle of a deserted hallway. Pushing aside his conflicted emotions, Jinwoo hurried to walk alongside the other. “I guess it wouldn’t hurt to join you,” he muttered. “Technically I’ll still be productive, even if I don’t hole myself up in the library to study.”

tsnsoo:
Far from the unusual sight, Myungsoo was wandering the halls in the middle of class, on the search for a vending machine to quench his thirst. He was in no hurry to get back, and eventually wound up in an entirely different department. His bag stayed draped over his shoulder just in case he decided on a whim not to go back.
Just when he thought the coast was clear to bolt out of the building, he spotted a student sitting in the hallway – one he recognized. He resisted all temptation to roll his eyes, stepping over to him. When he saw the tears, he feigned sympathy and placed a hand on the other male’s shoulder, leaning in to ask what he was doing there. Not that he really cared, but the guy was sort of an eyesore sulking in the hallway in a fetal position.
“Well, I was going to be nice, but I dunno about that anymore,” he eyed the wet streaks left behind on his cheeks, the corner of his mouth lifting in an irritated snear. “Anyway. You’re… Jinwoo or whatever, right? Shouldn’t you be at practice? Or class?”
Kim Myungsoo. That was the unfortunate face that he had to be greeted with when Jinwoo lifted his head. It’s not like they were on bad terms or anything; they just ... they were just fellow boxers who happened to know each other and that was it. This was not what Jinwoo had wanted. He internally cursed at himself for being a fool and getting emotional in the middle of the hallway - whether it was bound to be empty or not. Showing weakness in front of another fellow sportsman is definitely not something Jinwoo hoped to accomplish anytime soon, but it was too late now. Tears were shown and a hand was laid on his shoulder.
Sensing the other’s negative emotions, Jinwoo quickly picked himself up from the ground, brushing off the dust and dirt from his clothing. “Yeah, Jinwoo,” he confirmed, eyes darting around, “Class was cancelled. Why aren't you in class?” The male’s eyes wandered to the other’s bag slung carelessly over his shoulder. If he didn’t know any better, he’d assume the other was just running late and decided to lend a helping hand. However, Jinwoo has been around Myungsoo long enough to know that, that wasn’t the case at all.
“I’m pretty sure your professor won’t be so happy knowing one of his students is planning to ditch,” Jinwoo pointed out, left hand grabbing his forgotten backpack from the floor.

Jinwoo’s return to boxing started years ago, but now he’s hit a wall again. This time there was no pillar of support to hold him up. So here he was, stuck in the middle of the hallways, curled in a ball - ready to just drop out. It didn’t matter to him if his father was done with him; Jinwoo no longer cared. There was no motivation and he felt like all his effort was just going to waste. As tears threatened to spill, Jinwoo felt a hand lay itself on his shoulder, a voice softly whispering, checking up on him.
Teary eyes drew itself from the darkness from in between his legs to come face-to-face with the stranger who reached out. It was unusual for someone to be wandering around at this time of day. Most of the students had classes or practice, unlike Jinwoo, who chose to skip. The blonde only stared blankly at the other, trying to understand why they had approached him in the first place.
“Shouldn’t you be at practice? Or class?” He muttered, sniffling slightly as his hand quickly reached up to wipe away any stray tears.
