Isskari feels something deep in her chest rattle, something wheezing and fighting to escape- but she does not let it, she cannot- as she runs. Something about the Inquisitor startled her, something familiar that set her head to aching fiercely.
She runs, leaving the confused Sten to be slain by the Inquisition, and tries to make for the mine shaft the rest of the Qunari were held up in. There, the Tamassran can sooth her head, and her chest.
That Tal-Vashoth's face- it made her sick, something about seeing the Inquisitor made her feel... something else, something choking her thoughts and throat.
Gasping, she finally makes it to the base, unaware of her pursuers hot on her trail. A face flashes in her mind, laughing, accompanied by a softness that makes her feel safe- and it is followed by a pang of pain in her head, causing her to crash forward and clutch at her face, Anchor flashing and only serving to aggravate the pain.
"Parshaara! Anaan esaam Qun, kost esaam Qun," she cries out, startling the other Qunari to surround her, hastily checking her for wounds, confused to find none.
"Please! I... cannot... Nggh!" Collapsing forward, speaking Common in a broken tone, pain ripping through her being until a tall, imposing Tamassran places a gentle hand on her head, soothing her brow with soft tutting.
"Isskari... You were unprepared, I see... it was too soon to send you here, Viddasala was wrong." She intones, sweet voice conflicting with an emotionless expression. "Rest, be at peace," they continue, kneeling to the Isskari's level and preparing to press Qamek to her temples, causing her to shudder and let out a pained whine, leaning away from the Tamassran.
"No more... it hurts, Tama-- no more, please," she begs, closing her eyes and gripping her head, gasping when the Qamek-coated hands of the Tamassran cup her face and cause her to look up at the older Qunari.
"...if you are a broken tool, you can be used for other things," they say, carefully observing her. "You are physically healthy... The breeding program could use you. Why did I not think of this earlier?"
Unable to protest, the Isskari allows the Tamassran to set her into a cot, shutting her eyes and sedating her. The idea of her in that program- it feels like a parasite inside her, wiggling around her mind and choking her yet again. If she could move, or make a sound, she would weep.

The Qunari force locked their sights on Eon, some of them waiting for a signal from Tamyra to attack, or to notice. It is unsure which.
As his sister turns to meet his gaze, no recognition flashes in her eyes. She does not hesitate to chuck a spear towards him, though it misses by a hair.
Bull's information about Qamek surfaces in the Inquisitions mind, but it seems too unlikely- no mindless laborer could move with such brutal effectiveness.
When she speaks, her voice is gruff with disuse. "You... Inquisitor... Have you come... to die?" Tamyra speaks with difficulty, strain clear in her words though she looks... Tranquil, for lack of a better word.
"You... will die," she grits out, bristling. It sounds almost like a warning, a plea, but before it can be considered she takes off away from Eon, the other Qunari of her squad throwing spears at him while sharing a confused glance with eachother. They do not notice Bull or Sera until it is too late.

//Real talk, I’ll be deleting the app off my phone (my main means of using tumblr) for a few days, to clear storage for pictures and whatnot while I go on vacation. I will likely be MIA for the next week or so, but I WILL be back! Promises, and whatnot! I love you all, and will be talking to you again soon!//

Honestly, Rick Rolling is the best practical joke ever. Like, there’s nothing offensive or mean  spirited about it. It’s just like “Oops you thought there would be something else here but it’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.” which isn’t even a bad song. It’s fairly enjoyable to listen to. There’s no jumpscares, no screaming, no ill will. Just Rick Astley telling you he’s never going to give you up. I think that’s great. “You fell into my trap! Here, listen to this completely benign song that will have no negative effect on you.”

Hey guys I’m sharing this for a coworker, her cat was attacked by a dog recently and unless she can scrape together the money to get the cat the proper help- Coco will need to be put down. She really loves this cat and has had to deal with a lot this year all ready (having her car stolen and wrecked and needing to buy a new one for example-). If you can help that would be appreciated! I can offer sketches for donations if you’re interested. Signal boosting is also appreciated!! Thanks so much guys!

Cullen gulps, and nods slowly. “Leliana’s agents have gotten reports... It can’t be anyone but her.” With a pause, and a heavy heart, he holds Eon’s shoulders before he can move further and continues. “The reports all say she is in the company of Qunari...” he says, soft, face twisting into a frown as he hands the report to Eon to read himself.
Inquisition,
Tamyra Adaar was spotted in the Hissing Wastes a week ago, shortly before an attack involving ‘rogue’ Qunari faction, and Inquisition forces. Send back as soon as possible. She is not herself.
Agent Baron
Short, to the point, but telling almost nothing- not helpful in the least, and likely more worrying than anything. Cullen begins pacing, one hand behind his neck, the other on his hip, his silhouette framed by moonlight. “It is... troubling, to say the least.”
After a few weeks of traveling, Eon and his squad arrive at the Hissing Wastes Outpost, Scout Harding there to greet him with a grim smile. “We found your sister, alright, but she doesn’t seem to be herself at all.” She begins, turning and pointing Eastways. “Some of our forces have gotten into a scuffle with the rogue Qunari that way, you won’t miss it..."
Flashes of bright green intermittent with explosions in the distance leave nothing to the imagination, despite Harding’s purposefully vague beginning report. “We only knew it was her by the Mark on her hand, but other than that- she looks...” a pause, and Harding frowned recalling. “Unwell.”

There were a few things that were certain in life for Tamyra  the Isskari recently indoctrinated into the Qun. One such was that she could not remember life before the Qun, Qamek erased it from her mind. Another was that her purpose was to locate and detain artifacts of a magical nature, and that she was damn good at her purpose.
She ate, slept, drank, and breathed her purpose, there was nothing else for her beside it. To fail it was to fail the Qun- which would be betrayal in itself, that she would repay with her life.
She couldn’t be sure how long she’d be taught the Rights of the Qun, and how Wrong everything else was compared to it. A year? Two? Three? It didn’t matter anymore. There was nothing but her purpose that mattered.
The Demands of the Qun that gave her purpose mattered more than how long it had taken for her to open her eyes to what she was before. And the Qun demanded she travel into Thedas, far from the warm Seheron, and with the Viddasala to whittle away at the strength of power in the uneducated lands.
If she recognized any of the faces she fought with, former friends in the Inquisition basra and saarebas, she did not show it. But it was sure they would remember her, for no one wielded a blade as she did, nor did any Qunari have the exact same scar along their leg that a young girl who served as Inquisitor did. If that did not remind them of that girl- the green glow, swapped in wire and runes to keep it restrained, that marked her left hand did.
Weeks into the sparse raids against the Inquisition, reports of the Anchor wielding Qunari finally find the desk of Cullen Rutherford, Commander of the Inquisition’s forces, and Eon Adaar’s closest companion. He rued to give the news to him, sleeping so peacefully for once, whatever sleeping drought he’d taken to sooth his troubled mind working.
But he had to know, he might not forgive himself if he didn’t at least try to wake him... With a shaking hand, Cullen gently shakes Eon to wakefulness, the reports held tightly in his other hand.
“Eon...Eon...  It’s Tamyra. They found her.”

"I don't know... He'd probably spend the entire time I'm recovering telling me I messed up," she mused with a smile, setting her bowl aside and laying back. "...Heh... How do you think ma' would react? She'd probably have a cow."
Tamyra shuddered, rubbing her ear absentmindedly. "...let's not tell them about this, ah, Druffalo Incident, okay brother?"

Tamyra nods, gratefully accepting the stew and digging in. It tasted delicious- not as good as Mama's, but good.
The thought of their mother brought a sharp pain behind her eyes, tearing up at bittersweet memories, she sets aside the finished bowl and offers a watery smile to Eon. "Yeah... I hope she's doing okay, and Pa too. I miss them."
One of her bigger 'flaws', was that Tama was a babygirl to their parents, and missed them as fiercely as she once missed her brother. She wipes her face with the back of her hand, and shakes her head. "Do you think we're getting paid for this? I'd like to send some money home if we can."

"Hungry!" She chirps, smiling again. "I've been told I need to eat more to keep energy for healing."
Tamyra wasn't as concerned with the thoughts on her- she was more worried what would happen after, if they'd leave her brother alone or not. "Can you bring me some stew, please?"

"What happened at the Conclave was terrible," Tamyra says, suddenly somber, looking at the Mark on her left hand. "And I do agree with you, that the Mages and the Templars are not ready for a peacetalk yet... but I disagree that we need the Templars to seal the Breach," she says, setting the book in her lap.
"...If it seems like the Mages are not trustworthy, then I'll have faith in your judgement, and we can go to the Templars and I won't protest."

"Do you blame him? Do you think Cullen has a sister?" She asks, rubbing her face and finally getting ride of her blush. "Solas is... admittedly, rather attractive for a guy. So stoic, too," she gushes, chuckling. "Something about him is pretty alpha," she murmurs, leaning over to grab at Eon's book.
"I wouldn't mind him nursing me back to health~." Solas is probably the only man Tamyra could like, but Josie, the maid, or even Cassandra would always catch her eye first.
"So, should we choose teams, you think? Who'll go to the Templars with you, who'll go see the Mages with me and whatnot,"

"Oh, my," Tamyra mock fans herself, though is actually blushing. "Josie is- aha, she's so pretty... but I like any pretty woman. Josephine is prettier than Fiona, though. But- something about elven women, they're all so cute~,"
She may have been rambling, but the thought of pretty faces was distracting for the young Qunari, who presses her palms to her face in an attempt to sooth her blush.

"I'll be careful, big brother," she groans, sitting up and grinning. "Ohh, maybe that Fiona woman will be there, and she'll swoon for a dashing hero like me~," Tamyra teases, wiggling her fingers towards Eon.
"Don't you tell me to calm my hormones, when I see you giving that Commander the Eyes,"

"The woman came looking for help from us, brother," she grouses, laying back. "I'll whoop you with crutches, you big sourpuss."
A pause, and she taps her fingers impatiently along the bed. "...what if I go and scope out Redcliffe with some of Cullen's men, once my leg is better? I'd like to at least visit before we choose whether we want to ask who for help."
