Shadows of Hiraeth is officially open for applications!

Long ago, five clans were formed…

Everyone knows the story of how the clans began– a brand-new Starclan formed them from the heart of the battlefield after moons of bloodshed turned their fur into skies and their tears into stars. But lesser-known is the fear that arose in these new spirits once they discovered that they, like cats in the living realm, would not last forever.

To keep their beings from fading into nothing, they struck a pact with the living: power from Starclan in exchange for a cat that would remember them, keeping them from disappearing. This pact has gone on since then, becoming a tradition that the clans have upheld for generations.

Now, four clans remain, upholding their deal with their Ancestors to receive gifts from them. Shadowclan has been gone for moons, wiped out in less than a moon by sickness and something more. Their existence is now nary an old queen’s tale, a story about a clan that once lived within the harrowing Mute Forest. But what happens when the clans begin to see omens about this long-lost fifth clan, and how will they handle them? Has Starclan been hiding something all this time?

That is all to be found out in Shadows of Hiraeth, a discord-based Warriors RP!

…and now, they must seek the truth.

SoH was an rp set in the forest territories that ran in 2018 about what would happen if Shadowclan had been taken from the forest instead of Skyclan. Over the last year+, though, it has been developed into something entirely new and exciting! Cats now have Ancestors, and there is an all-new rank known as Readers. The lore is vast and there are loads of ways to have unique characters!

As this is a brand new RP aside from members who transferred from the old SoH, we have a ton of open high ranks! Please check out our info page to read about the lore and see what Ancestors/high ranks are open!

Also, if you are DM’ed about an error within your application, don’t panic– there are a lot of details in the lore, so mistakes in the initial application will likely be common!

Hi there! We are so very sorry for the HUGE delay in applications. We tried to kickstart things in the server recently, however a very important character’s rper has been unable to be online for a while for IRL reasons, so things have again been at a standstill because of that character’s role in the plot. However, the rper returned today, so hopefully the mod team can get things moving again!

I for one have been really busy with college and I know that’s the case for about half of the mod team. ;w; We are really hoping to get applications sorted through soon!!! So sorry again for the delay, but hopefully by at least this weekend we will be able to start sending out some responses. Thank you for the question and your patience!

TRIAL OF THE STARS IS OPEN FOR JOINING! Trial of the Stars is a warrior cats RP following two clans, Mireclan and Stormclan, the result of Lionclan and Tigerclan never returning back to the four original clans. Follow them as Mireclan attempts to live by the true and honest warrior code, while Stormclan tries to rewrite their old laws… Of worthy note: Mireclan is currently experiencing an unknown illness. Any new cats will not automatically be sick upon joining unless asked to be, so don’t worry!

This is a server going on 50+ people so if you aren’t a fan of larger servers, this may not be the RP for you. We also have regular activity checks.

We are opening this time with member adoptables. For this reason, we will be a little slower this time around in accepting people since these will be tryouts and we will have to talk with the adoptable owner on who the cat goes to. However, we are also opening 10 slots for non-adoptable characters, 5 per clan, if that’s what you would prefer! These are first come first serve in terms of acceptance.

We also need more members of Stormclan’s council. We would like to have 9 council members and currently only have 4, so we will be accepting up to 5 cats for this. We will also accept elders.

when will applications open?

As of right now, we are unsure. There have been some hold-ups in rp that have put things at a bit of a standstill, and it would probably be best to cross that hurdle before we re-open applications.

That being said, we have been planning to have another opening soon!! It will be adoptables-only, however, so if you’re looking to bring in one of your own characters, you’ll have to wait for an opening for regular applications, or ones for a specific role, such as Stormclan councilor. There is a chance we may do that again with the next opening, as the goal for councilors is 9 and we currently only have 5, but nothing has been decided for sure except the next opening will overall be adoptables only!

realism! sorta realised i’d never tried to paint fur digitally before, so i gave it a shot this morning! took a little under 2 hours, and im really proud of how it came out! tysm for the feature on the warriors amino ;;w;;
