Real Madrid have the formality of their Copa del Rey round of 32 second-leg encounter against Melilla to negotiate on Wednesday at the Bernabeu.
Goals from Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Alvaro Odriozola and Cristo Gonzalez have given them a 4-0 advantage heading into this encounter after the first leg in the North African enclave .
Santi Solari, however, will be eager that Los Blancos continue a strong run of form that has seen him win six of his first seven matches in charge.

Match Preview
Santi Solari’s adventure in the Real Madrid dugout started in Melilla on October 31 and since securing a 4-0 victory in the North African enclave has passed off rather smoothly.
A 3-0 hiccup against Eibar aside, Los Blancos have rediscovered their winning ways, will qualify in the Champions League with no problems and are only five points behind leaders Barcelona in La Liga.
At the weekend, they secured a steady 2-0 victory over Valencia . An own goal after eight minutes gave them a perfect start before Lucas Vazquez added a second in the closing stages.
Constitution Day in Spain means that there will be an early kick-off for this fixture and Solari is hoping to give the home fans something to cheer.
“This Thursday is a holiday and lots of people will come along to the match, we want to see several different players on the pitch,” he said.
Isco is certainly set to be celebrating, with the attacker touted to be given a first chance to impress his new coach from the beginning of a game.
The Spain star shared an image on social media asking if he was overweight, but Solari is ignoring the incident.
“I'm not on social media and didn't see Isco's photo,” he said.
“Players need to give the best of themselves to be available and to then do the best possible. Then there are choices and different periods of form, all of this exists.

“There are players in football who play well and who do so constantly, which is why they start for 10 or 12 years, but nobody has played forever because they are called X.”

Manchester United vs Leeds United: Why do the football clubs share such a fierce rivalry?

The two sides will meet in Perth next July during their pre-season tour of Australia for the first time in eight years
The rivalry between Manchester United and Leeds was once described as ‘English football’s most intense, and most inexplicable’.
And it is set to be renewed next summer when the two sides meet during their pre-season tour of Australia.
The Optus Stadium in Perth will host the historic occasion on July 17, eight years after they last faced off in a 3-0 Man United triumph at Elland Road.
But why is there such hostility, we hear you ask?
Leeds and Man United fans will renew their rivalry when the teams meet next summer in a pre-season ‘friendly’
History
Well, the rivalry (bizarrely) has its origins in the days of Tudor kings and William Shakespeare.
The feeling between United and Leeds is believed to be a manifestation of the rivalry between the counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire, established during the 15th century War of the Roses – a series of civil wars fought for the throne of England.
Lancashire’s historic symbol is a red rose, while Yorkshire’s is a white rose – which is quite fittingly corresponded to in the kits of United and Leeds.
Jump forward three centuries and the two cities were at it again, this time during the industrial revolution, as unprecedented economic growth saw them competing over who could construct the most impressive architecture.
The clubs’ rivalry grew when both were dominant forces with some of the best players such as Billy Bremner, George Best and Bobby Charlton
Busby vs Revie
In the post-WWII era, Matt Busby’s Man United were the dominant force in English football, while Leeds established a reputation as a tough, uncompromising side under Don Revie.
The two sides met in the 1965 FA Cup semi-final, a match which saw a punch up between Jack Charlton and Denis Law. The Yorkshire Post issued the following verdict: “Both sides behaved like a pack of dogs snapping and snarling at each other over a bone.”
The ill-tempered game finished 0-0 and Leeds won the replay at the City Ground courtesy of an 89th minute goal.
United, however, had the last laugh as they pipped Leeds to the league title due to a better goal average that season.
Hooliganism
The rivalry has extended far beyond the action of Old Trafford and Elland Road.
In the 1970s, when football hooliganism in Britain was at its most violent, fights between the Leeds United Service Crew and Man United’s Red Army were commonplace.
They were two of the most notorious hooligan firms in Britain and their fights became known as some of the most violent across the country.
Thankfully, these clashes have faded out due to a combination of a decline in both hooliganism and Leeds’ fortunes on the pitch.

1982-onwards
Despite famous clashes between Roy Keane and Alf-Inge Haland, Ian Harte and Fabien Barthez, Robbie Keane and David Beckham – these encounters have become increasingly scarce as time has gone on.
Leeds were relegated in 1982 and did not face United until they returned to the top division eight years later in 1990.
And a similar period has followed in recent times: the two clubs have not been in the same division since Leeds were relegated in 2004 and have only played each other twice since.
Nonetheless, polls show that Leeds fans still consider Man United to be their main football rivals. Perhaps they’re still bitter about Alan Smith.

Barcelona Claims Ousmane Dembélé Is Suffering From Gaming Disorder After Missing Training Again

Barcelona have put forward their diagnosis on Ousmane Dembélé after claiming that he suffers from a gaming disorder.
According to AS, the 21-year-old Frenchman had missed his training session due to a late night of gaming with his friends.
Due to his late sessions, the World Cup winner would forget to set his alarm for the morning, in which he would later tell the club that he missed training because of illness.
Unsurprisingly, it meant that the club doctor would have to make his way around to the former Borussia Dortmund star's home to check up on him, mainly to ensure to Barça's senior management that he had been cleared of illness.
The Spanish club now believes that Dembélé suffers from a gaming disorder and that it is affecting his relationship with other players and his performances.

SPORTbible first reported on the Barça star's strange behaviour when he failed to show up for a training session, which left the club's staff furious with his actions.
Dembélé didn't make his case any easier when he turned up late for Barcelona's match with Real Betis, with fans' patience drawing thin towards him.
Earlier this year, the World Health Organization (WHO) listed 'gaming disorder' as a mental health condition for the first time.

"Gaming disorder is defined in the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) as a pattern of gaming behavior ("digital-gaming" or "video-gaming") characterized by impaired control over gaming, increasing priority given to gaming over other activities to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences," reads WHO's statement on its website.
"For gaming disorder to be diagnosed, the behaviour pattern must be of sufficient severity to result in significant impairment in personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other important areas of functioning and would normally have been evident for at least 12 months."

13 Years Ago Today, Ronaldinho Received A Standing Ovation At The Santiago Bernabeu
Remember Ronaldinho when he played for Barcelona? Of course you do! He was absolutely brilliant!
On the 19th November 2005, the Bernabeu rose to its feet as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, Iker Casillas, shrugged his shoulders, powerless of his genius. Thousands of Real Madrid fans proceeded to applaud Ronaldinho's marvellous individual effort, a rare glimpse of admiration from the often indignant Los Blancos support.
Ronaldinho was unplayable that night. He ducked and weaved through players like never before. The 25-year-old scored two superb individual goals on that brisk November evening as Barcelona romped to victory over their biggest rivals.
Just before the hour mark, Ronaldinho received the ball from Deco at halfway line, skipped past two challenges with ease before firing past Iker Casillas. Los Blancos looked on helpless. In fact, i'd say they looked on in fear, trying to guess 'Dinho's next move.
They were right to be wary. Madrid's defence crumbled as Ronaldinho ran towards them. In a similar turn of events, the Barcelona man took on two defenders on the left to slot home past. 3-0. 'Joga Bonito' cried the Barca fans. It was a moment to cherish for everyone in attendance.
Iconically, a moustached Real Madrid fan, who wore a scarf over his neck, stood up and started cheering what he just had witnessed. Then everyone joined in, in awe of what Ronaldinho had just done.

Samuel Eto'o may have put the visitors ahead just after 15 minutes but his performance dissolved into the unknown, perilous to the Ronaldinho show.
Shortly after the game, Eto'o spoke to Barça TV and his reaction said it all:
"When Ronaldinho scored that goal when he got rid of everyone, even his teammates, I stood there in disbelief, looked to one side and muttered to myself: 'But, what is happening?' It was unbelievable,"

Rather incredibly, Ronaldinho admitted later on that he didn't even realise he was being applauded by the Real Madrid support:
"No, I didn't realise in the moment. I remembered when we arrived to the locker room and everybody was talking about it and I went to check it on the TV.
"Because of the joy of scoring and the celebration, I didn't notice the standing ovation. It's special. Only a few players have had this joy of being acclaimed by the fans of your archrivals in a derby."
What a moment. What a player.

Ebbsfleet United goalkeeper jumps into crowd and ‘does a Cantona’ after draw with Boreham Wood

Nathan Ashmore had been getting abuse from the home fans and, at full-time, jumped in to where the home fans were to try and confront the culprits
There was chaos at the end of Boreham Wood’s 0-0 draw with Ebbsfleet at Meadow Park in the National League.
When the full-time whistle sounded, Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore jumped in with the home supporters in an attempt to confront abusive fans.
But there's a fracas in the crowd now. Referee trying to restore order with players standing by close in.

Fans were shocked at what they witnessed and one even tweeted: “Never witnessed a scene like that, Ebbsfleet keeper has done an absolute Cantona, jumping the hoardings into the fans,” in reference to Manchester United forward Eric Cantona’s scuffle with Crystal Palace fans in 1995.
Boreham Wood report say the situation was contained when “two sensible home fans and our quick response stewards restrained the irate ‘keeper and averted any actual trouble from occurring.”
A few days earlier, Eastleigh fan Martin Lombardi was fined £650 and ordered to pay £600 compensation to Ashmore for shouting foul language towards the Ebbsfleet goalkeeper during a match in April. He was also told to pay £300 costs and £65 victim surcharge.
However, the club have said there was no element of racial abuse from their fans on Saturday.

“We have ascertained from our enquiries, that some supporters behind the goal were calling him a ‘nonce,’ and commenting on his weight, as he went about his normal goalkeeping duties, and especially when he took his goal kicks.
“We genuinely wish to apologise to Nathan and want to reassure people, that though this incident was hurtful to him as an individual, and is not acceptable – it was in no way racial, as some fans have speculated.
“In truth, the make up of our club, our squad, our staff and the fact that we reside in cosmopolitan North London and South Herts, would make that accusation quite ridiculous. As a club, we have prided ourselves and ensured over many, many years, that our employment policies regarding our day to day staff, our playing staff and the make up of our coaching staff and academy scholars, that we are a totally inclusive organisation.
Nathan Ashmore jumped into where the Boreham Wood fans were standing to confront the abusive supporters “We are totally colour blind, gender blind and do not tolerate any form of religious bigotry. We simply look for the right people, with the correct attitude, discipline and desire, whenever we employ staff. We would also operate a zero tolerance of any supporter found guilty of any racial overtones. In light of the incident today, we can only give you any further facts, as and when they are verified.
“We will neither blow the situation up nor will we play it down. We already recognise, that It is not acceptable for any goalkeeper to be called names – as such, our football safety officer began a thorough investigation and that investigation started directly after today’s game.
“We do however feel that it was a shame that Nathan felt compelled to jump the safety barrier, as it inflamed the situation. It was a situation that could have been much better controlled, if he had simply pointed out the name callers to a steward – as his actions put himself and others in harms way. That said, we do understand that logical thinking when emotions are running high, is not always possible.
The goalkeeper was restrained, preventing the incident from escalating even further “Luckily, we can report, after the chief steward’s debrief, was that two sensible home fans and our quick response stewards restrained the irate ‘keeper and averted any actual trouble from occurring. The fact other players from both sides felt the need to get a closer look is also regrettable – but for all those who watch football, that was nothing more than we see every week, when the handbag brigade start to push and shove each other at a corner and nothing more…
“We are though asking for anyone who saw this incident, or anyone who has footage or information to come forward in confidence and give a statement to our football safety officer. We will ensure that any supporter found to be behaving in a manner not conducive to an inclusive family club – will be banned immediately.”

Bayern Munich Believe They Have Won The Race To Sign Aaron Ramsey
Aaron Ramsey has attracted interest from a plethora of clubs after it was confirmed he will not be signing a new contract with Arsenal.
But the latest reports say that Bayern Munich have made a major breakthrough in talks with the Welshman and believe they have pretty much secured the services of the Cardiff City youth product.

According to Jack Pitt-Brooke from The Independent, Ramsey is poised to join the Bavarian club on a free transfer in the summer and they are confident he will sign a long-term deal.
Understand there has been a recent breakthrough in talks and Ramsey is due to sign a long-term contract from this summer.

Ramsey joined from hometown club Cardiff as a youngster and has won three FA Cups in his time at the North London club.
He won the club's Player of the Season award in 2013/14 and 2017/18 but he and the club have been very far apart in contract negotiations and after his tenth and final season with the Gunners, the 27-year old will now move onto a new challenge in the form of Bayern.

Ramsey looks set to become the latest British player to head to the Bundesliga, though he's at a very different stage of the likes of Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson, the Arsenal youngster currently tearing it up on loan at Hoffenheim.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has made another sensational u-turn as he claimed last night that his fight with Tenshin Nasukawa is back on.
Mayweather shocked the sporting world when he turned up in Tokyo earlier this month to announce a bout on New Year's Eve against the unknown Japanese kickboxer.
The fight was going to be against Nasukawa in Tokyo after Mayweather reportedly signed a deal with RIZIN Fighting Federation, a Japanese mixed martial arts company.
Although, once the American return to U.S soil he revealed the whole thing had been a major misunderstanding and he was only supposed to fight three rounds behind closed doors to a select crowd of very wealthy people.

However, Mayweather has now announced the fight is back on in and claimed it is going to be the 'highest paid exhibition ever.'
"We're gonna make it happen.
"Rules? It's gonna be a little boxing exhibition.
"No kicking, I'm moving around with the guy for 9 minutes, and of course it's gonna be the highest paid exhibition ever.

Wales host Denmark at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight
in a crucial UEFA Nations League game.
