“Cote de Pablo, who plays Ziva, came to me right before we were shooting the first scene where we kissed, and said, ‘I’ve never kissed anyone on camera before.’ I was expecting this timid little bird kiss, like a little peck, but she was like a lioness—she practically ate my head off! This is where Tiva started. We were told to really have fun with it, they wanted a sexy thing happening, and Cote delivered. I was just sort of along for the ride.”

I love Michael Weatherly. One of the few people on earth I could spend twelve hours a day with for years. He probably doesn't feel that way...HA...but I know he feels that way about Cotes. When I said it's a rare thing to find real friends in this business combined with people you like working with, it wasn't drama, it wasn't hyperbole. It's the truth. It's rare. And beautiful. And you're lucky if it happens even once.

Hey! Thanks for responding! So my question is: during the Sergei episodes, was one of the Russian agents also working to help Gibbs?
Hi!
You’re welcome. Massive apologies for taking literally months to respond further. I feel awful!
As for your question, I don’t believe so. However, I’d message another NCIS fan to double-check as I’m slightly fuzzy on the intimate details of the Sergei situation.
I understand you likely wouldn’t want to seeing as through I’ve taken forever to reply, but honestly, if there’s ever anything else you’re curious about, feel free to ask. I’m more than happy to help out where I can.
However, here in Australia they are yet to set a release date for season thirteen. Thus, I’d appreciate it if I wasn’t sent any spoilers. Apart from that, any question regarding seasons one to twelve are more than welcome.

Look Out, Tony! Your Ex is Returning to NCIS
By Shelli Weinstein   October 6, 2015
As if things weren't already complicated enough when they split, Agent Tony DiNozzo and his ex, Jeanne Benoit, will meet face-to-face once again on NCIS.
TVLine reports that Scottie Thompson will be returning to NCIS in November, for what could be multiple episodes. She first appeared in Season 4 as Jeanne, a doctor and not-so-coincidentally, the daughter of an arms dealer.
We last saw Jeanne when she figured out that Tony was an NCIS agent set to take down her father, Rene Benoit, aka. La Grenouille. She left Tony a letter asking him to choose between her and the job, and later tried to pin her father's murder on him.
But hey, no hard feelings, right?
Since departing NCIS, Thompson has appeared on Zoo, Grey's Anatomy, Castle and Graceland among others. Are you excited for her return to NCIS?

David McCallum:
“NCIS is fabulous but people ask me what it is like working on NCIS and the answer is quite simple. It is all about waiting,”
While waiting, David wrote a quirky crime novel titled Once a Crooked Man.

McCallum’s ducks in row
By Tiffany Fox September 28, 2015
David McCallum fans come in two distinct vintages. For a certain generation of television fans, McCallum will always be the alluring Russian spy Illya Kuryakin from the 1960s hit series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. who inspired a Beatles-like frenzy wherever he went.
Among younger audiences, he is best known as NCIS’ erudite medical examiner Donald “Ducky” Mallard, whose softly spoken Scottish charm has won a gentler but no less heartfelt devotion from millions of viewers worldwide.
Now in its 13th season in the US, the internationally popular police procedural drama remains one of the highest-ranking shows on US television and has attracted more than 57.6 million viewers in more than 200 countries around the world.
McCallum attributed Ducky’s popularity with viewers to NCIS’ writers, who had developed the character in different and interesting ways over the show’s 13-year run.
“He has a strength, he is also a doctor so he is caring and has a bedside manner, he is didactic and loves to teach, and people like that,” McCallum said.
“If you meet someone who is clearly more intelligent than you are, you have a sense that you want to spend time with this person because they have so much to tell you and I think Ducky has that flavour.”
Given NCIS’s seemingly unwavering hold on viewer loyalty, it would be understandable if, at the age of 82, McCallum chose to concentrate solely on his NCIS duties.
After all, the veteran of screen and stage has developed such an interest in forensic pathology since starting the role as Ducky that NCIS creator Donald P. Bellisario once described him as an expert in the field.
Instead, McCallum came up with a novel new hobby to fill his spare time.
He wrote a book.
“NCIS is fabulous but people ask me what it is like working on NCIS and the answer is quite simple. It is all about waiting,” McCallum said during a break in filming NCIS’s 286th episode.
“If you are in a show that shoots for eight days, and you are in three of them, it means for five of the working days you are not working.
“You can garden, you can cook, you can have friends over, you can play golf, you can do all of these wonderful things but you are in fact waiting to get back to NCIS.
“Writing a book is great because it gives you something to do.”
Titled Once a Crooked Man, and due to be released on January 12, McCallum said the debut novel was a far cry from the world of NCIS, despite being written in and around his time in the studio.
“It is about Harry Murphy, an actor who lives in New York, who has a serendipitous moment and goes off to save someone’s life,” McCallum said.
“It is the worst idea. He runs into an awful lot of complications.
“It has been colossal fun and I think people are going to enjoy it.”
However, Ducky fans need not fret. McCallum’s debut as an author does not mean he is any less dedicated to NCIS.
“It is quite extraordinary to have done the same part for 12 or 13 years,” he said.
“In the early days at NCIS, I would say to everybody ‘This show is going to go to number one’, because the writing was so good and the idea was so good and it made for great television.”
Season 13, which premiered in the US last week, picks up the dramatic cliffhanger of season 12 which ended with Special Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) lying on the ground after being shot in the leg and chest.
McCallum said the aftermath of the cliffhanger would affect all of the characters in unexpected ways but viewers could expect the action to move on quickly. He said the pasts of forensic scientist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) and Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) would both come under the spotlight, and Ducky had his own storyline later in the season.
“I like it because it is never the same and something happens that is always different,” McCallum said of season 13, which does not yet have a confirmed Australian premiere date but is expected to air soon on Ten.
“I have absolutely no idea what to expect ... but I have such confidence in the writers that I know they will serve us well for the whole season.”

NCIS' Stars Pauley Perrette And Sean Murray On Their Strong 'Connection'
With Season 13 of NCIS underway, fans are eager to know how one of the most pivotal relationships is faring. Rest assured: Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) and Sean Murray (Timothy McGee) have nothing but love for one another. The actors appeared on The Talk Thursday with their arms around each other and huge smiles on their faces. Just like on the show, the pair are great friends in real life. Not only do they hang out when they're not filming, but they also enjoy surprising each other with fun, thoughtful gifts. Although, don't expect Perrette to settle for fruit baskets.
"Pauley is the animal rescue queen," Murray said to applause from the crowd before revealing a photo of the sweet rescue cat Perrette gave him earlier this year, which he named Abby. "I love her to death."
When asked about how their characters' relationship has changed since the beginning of the series, both actors agreed that it organically seems to improve each season, crediting the growth to their own chemistry. "It's been wonderful," Murray said. "I mean, from the second I met Pauley, we had this sort of connection." "[Our characters are] not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore, but they adore each other," Perrette added, later noting that "You don't have to be creepy when you're somebody's ex." As they dove further into their NCIS world, both actors confessed that no one was more excited about the premiere than guest star Jon Cryer. The former Two And A Half Men star has loved the naval drama since it first aired 13 years ago, and this season, he finally had the chance to join his favorite characters on screen. "He's our biggest fanboy," Perrette joked. Interested to see how Abby and McGee get along this season? Watch NCIS Tuesdays on CBS at 8/7c.
