Seidou getting an open ending but Akira and Amon not just gives me space to say they’re both looking for Seidou so they can be happy together.
No definitive ending for my ot3 means it’s canon

Lol I know I'm never around anymore guys because I've quit tumblr but I could really use some help and I know I have no right to ask for my followers help after being inactive for so long but I don't know what else to do. Unfortunately I can't offer anything in return to you guys but you'll have my heartfelt gratitude for the rest of my life if you reblog
Guys I really like don’t asking for help, especially when it comes to money but I’m really running out of options so I had no choice but to make this. His behaviour can’t continue on like this and I’m running out of time before the trainer is scheduled and this was her only opening for months. I’ve always been terrified of asking for help but I don’t know what else to do. At this point I have to hope for a miracle and that the money will magically appear for me.
I know it’s stupid thing to ask for help for and not a life or death pet situation and nor does it really tug on heart strings but this is a very urgent and very last choice plea for help. He means the world to me and has helped with my mental health in ways I can’t begin to describe. I don’t want to lose him to some tragic aggressive moment where he attacks a stranger because of his high anxiety. Asking and having to rely on help from random, kind strangers is my last hope.
Reblogs are greatly appreciated.

tbh I never had a first-hand experience feeling like I wanted to stop making fan art until this Chibi thing. Having a big name like his behave so horribly towards a creator, and then treat the whole situation like a joke after making a video obviously pandering for sympathy from his die-hard fans. It took an enormous toll in my trust in the fandom– and that’s coming from a person who has had their art re-posted without permission countless times.
I mean, some slimy scumbag who was harassing my friends on twitter over Chibi saw me trying to correct his statement about copyright law, and within the hour had my art set to his profile image and was reposting my work without credit.
That’s really scary, especially because Chibi gave that dude the excuse to do it. You really can’t imagine how disregarded and defiled it makes a person feel.
I don’t know. I still love TG and will surely keep making fan art for it, but… god idk guys that sort of situation is so out-of-control and unacceptable, not just for me, but artists and content creators in general. You can’t treat people who give you all this awesome extra stuff that takes them tons of time and skill– often for free– by spitting in their faces when they ask for a little common courtesy.

I don't want to be the bad guy here and I don't want to kick out of tumblr. 😔You should watch Chibi Reviews's video. He did said that he's Sorry and he has admitted that he was being childish for taking someone's artwork for his mistake and he wish he took back those nasty things what he said to artist. I known you guys are good community and you guys always accept me as my own,but at least you guys forgive Chibi for his action.
Please don’t think you’re going to get kicked out of Tumblr for something like this, you have your thoughts on this issue and I have my own, and I don’t want someone to feel alienated because of this drama.
I did watch the entire video, and while I can understand Chibi’s reactions in some instances like getting heated and saying things he shouldn’t have, I still heavily disagree with how he handled this entire situation. Ultimately I can’t forgive for this because he still does not get the point of what he did wrong. I’ll explain some of the things he said and what bothered me about them.
1. No one sent people after him.
He kept stating how the artist sent people after him maliciously, even after many people on Twitter told him this was not the case (myself included). At the beginning he got replies from a couple people that barely constitute as attacks (X/X). In fact, when Chibi made the “Common Sense” comment, only the 1st reply chain I linked was present at the time.
It was only when he made that comment and didn’t take down the reposted art that more people began tweeting telling him to take it down, hence the artist’s comment about how Chibi would not have replied if people hadn’t come after him for it. Some people’s replies were indeed snarky, but many of those replies came from people who had had to deal with Chibi stealing art and meta from themselves or their friends without credit over the last 3 years (X/X).
This wasn’t the first time Chibi had done something like this, this was the umpteenth time. People’s patience with him was wearing thin at this point, and it broke after he began blocking accounts even from people who were having civilized arguments but disagreed with Chibi, and from people who were correcting him on copyright laws that he did not fully understand himself (I can’t link the post, but you can scroll below to find it).
2. He kept mentioning how the artist did not give him the original link.
To be honest, I think there was some major miscommunication going on because both parties wanted completely different things. Chibi wanted a link to the original art to add as credit to the post, whereas the artist wanted him to delete the gif altogether because she doesn’t allow art reposted outside her own blog/account. After all, what’s the point of giving him a link if you just want him to delete it? I agree that this could’ve been expressed more clearly, but everyone was quite heated by this point.
3. Had the artist contacted me [Chibi] in a proper way?
I don’t understand this at all. What is the difference whether the artist contacts him publicly or not for this? If anything, contacting him publicly forces Chibi to not just ignore it and it makes him do something about it. Had Chibi just apologized sincerely to the artist and deleted the post, none of this drama would have arisen.
I’ll repeat. This drama blew up not because the artist contacted him publicly, but because of Chibi’s actions. Even if he knows he said the wrong things, he should not be putting the blame on the artist’s method of contact for this ordeal.
4. Talking about him is free advertisement.
We were not talking about him to freely advertise his channel.. If that was what he got out of this whole ordeal, I’m really disappointed in him (even more than I already am). One of the big reasons why people were talking about him so much was because Chibi’s actions set a precedent for a fairly large amount of people on the Internet in regards to proper art sourcing. Whether he likes it or not, he is an online presence and people are going to follow his example. More people are going to repost art, artists get discouraged by the reposting, and they stop posting their art online. This has already happened to several artists in the TG community, and it’s disheartening to see that this was what he took out of everyone arguing with him.
5. The matter on flagging his videos on YouTube
He took this way out of proportion. I specifically meant only videos where he had stolen art on, not his entire channel. I don’t condone flagging down his entire channel, that’s just malicious spam at that point. The whole point of that ask was that if there are any videos that contain stolen art, that there is a link where the artist themselves can go to to report.
6. Not mentioned in the video, but regarding his tweets after that video was published
If Chibi was truly sorry for his mistake, would he post tweets like this and this? The whole point of this drama was that people should respect the artist’s wishes as a common courtesy, not make jokes about how everything needs a citation and go off on tangents about how fanart doesn’t truly belong to the fanartist.
I’m sorry this whole drama happened, but I honestly cannot find it in myself to forgive Chibi if he didn’t learn a thing from this. If you disagree, please feel free to unfollow me.

As I’m sure quite a number of you have seen, there’s been some recent bullshit going around as per usual. I would just like to post a disclaimer before wiping my hands of this since there seems to be some false information being spread so particular persons are represented as the innocent party.
Disclaimer: nobody sent a rabid horde of fans after ChibiReviews. After he was drawn attention to the fact that the artist did not want their art reposted he stated (which he later deleted) [x]
Tumblr media
This, along with his failure to delete the repost and eventually giving an insincere apology including the line “you should have been nicer to me”, was what directly caused the backlash he’s now facing. If he had taken responsibility right at the start, there would have been no consequences. A simple “oh shit sorry” and deleting the tweet would have made this entire thing a non-issue.
I don’t appreciate being described as a “angry SJW mob” for sticking up for a friend who was upset that their art was being reposted.
TLDR:
artist: don’t repost my art chibi: /no response/ artist’s friend: hey don’t repost their art chibi: you don’t post your art online if you don’t want someone else to repost it chibi: *receives backlash for doing something wrong* chibi: sorry but you should have been nicer to me from the start angry mob: *calls him out* chibi: the artist sent a rabid horde of fans after me because im popular

btw if you’re curious, this is the type of thing the “angry SJW horde” the artist “sent after him” were saying to him at first, and what was apparently so offensive that it deserved a block

Also guys if I could take a moment after all this drama to inform you of a very important real life situation. If you get to college or a professional job and you did something like chibi use an image without sourcing it and claimed you couldn’t find it you would still get kicked out of school and fired. The professional fields take it very seriously so I encourage you especially if you are young to start getting into that habit now. This is advice from your dad, please consider taking it.

That sounded like an awful lot to me as well but I was also trying to vaguely base it off off of Rize’s side story whch was set ‘6 months earlier’
Kaneki’s Accident Date
I got a little obsessed with finding out the exact date Kaneki went for a date with Rize and I think I have it. Special thanks to @coromoor and @inthesweetmadness for being just as obsessive over this (we originally freaked at the idea of Furuta killing Rize on her birthday)
First the photo from the tkg movie’s twitter. I consider the movie to be an accurate source given how dedicated the director was and all the other details included.
Tumblr media
Zooming in we determined his date was on the 23rd so definitely not her birthday. The next clue is that Kaneki mentions he was in the hospital for weeks.
Tumblr media
And we know for certain he was released on October 21 because of Hide’s congratulatory text. That erases any last chance of the accident being October 8th because Kaneki mentions weeks up to his release and the 8th would make it just shy of 2 weeks.
Tumblr media
The timeline places the accident between late June/Early July but I wasn’t sure how they got there, but I trusted the meticulous analysis of @randomthoughtpatterns and @smthold when making the timeline. (Thank you for all that work)
I originally zoomed in again on the live action calendar vainly hoping for a 06 or 07  月 on top, but then I noticed there were only 30 days on his sheet. That makes it to be either June or August. At this point I checked the kanji beside the dates and quickly realized his date was Saturday the 23rd.
I quickly plugged in June 2012 on my phone’s calendar and yup you guessed it
Tumblr media
The dates match.
So I think it’s now pretty safe to say his date was Saturday the 23rd of June, 2012.
