i have a few questions for the night vale fandom

Why tentacles? bunches of ya’ll headcanon that cecil has literal tentacles or tentacle-y tattoos. Why??? Also like why do we all unanimously agree that cecil has a third eye? I know it’s in the logo, but like? he doesn’t have a physical description? the eye is probably just a metaphor for how fucked up and watchful the night vale government is… right?
