memorial day weekend recap
decided to start a new thing. i’ve been feeling creative and need a new outlet/a place to express my thoughts. soo, here’s a quick recap of the weekend:
- summer’s first farmers’ market on saturday. complete with stella’s spicy cheese bread (for the fam), cheese and salsa beef sticks (sounds spooky, but my must-buy), and some veggies, of course. also stopped at a food truck for carnitas tacos because, duh.
- brewers baseball on sunday. i’m not one for sports usually, but i actually really enjoyed myself at this game. maybe it was because they played well, or maybe it was because i got a free kids meal ticket (perks of looking young) and didn’t get carded when i got a drink (a rarity).
- memorial day. felt like a sunday, spent like a sunday. took my first trip to aldi (scored $1.19 gf mac and cheese), napped, and did crossword puzzles on the screened-in porch while it rained.
